I know this has the smell of that on a lot of levels, but for me it has a lot more to do with ‘small company with a vision, but not the coding skill, PR skill, or hardware to back it up’

They’ve been fighting to keep their head above water when it comes to service failures since launch. If they had built from the

It’s not even a large fan base with a totally different vision that is making such an impact. It's the lack of real functionality in the game and then removing the only viable option for players because they consider it cheating. If the game worked I wouldn't care of pokevision was down, but it doesn't work and

The strangest part about that whole thing is that the ability to track which Pokémon are found where has been around in the mainline games since the start. And the ability to see exactly what is around you has been in since the more recent releases.

You just don’t understand the fun game mechanics that Niantic envisioned. Those 9 pidgeys are what its all about! You have to be moving around and find the other 81 as well though.

I don’t understand why everyone assumes I don’t know how to throw things out. I’ve already had 10 replies telling me to just throw things out. Thanks, but not helpful at all.

Small company with a lack of vision vs. large fan base with a lack of PokeVision.

No, this is an example of a company advertising one thing, people paying for it, then the company changing said thing without communication to its users.

Just to be clear, you know that you can delete specific items that you don’t want, right?*** I don’t battle either, so I always delete all but 5 or 10 recovery items to make space for more pokeballs.

you can delete those potions and revives so you have room for more pokeballs

The game is amazingly fun.... when it works.

People overlooked the problems at first but there are some issues with the game, and removing a feature instead of fixing it isn’t helping.

Are you faulting players for feeling mislead because features that were present in the app at launch have been removed at a later point without warning?

Sure, you could see it as cheating if it enabled you to ‘win’ the game is some fashion, but all it did for me is locate a bulbasaur that I KNEW was nearby but not which direction. However, I didn’t help me catch fifty bulbasaurs, level up and take over ten gyms. It simply helped me catch a pokemon that Niantec wanted

What is wrong with kids these days? Now they want video games that actually work as intended and don’t have major features glitched out? In my day we paid $60 for games that fatally crashed the moment you hit start, and when they did we went back to the store and paid them another $60 to thank them for teaching us a

Totally agree. When I put in the 50 or so pokemon I DON’T have into pokevision, I would sometimes see 1-2 of them in my city (Cleveland). Sometimes none. Now, with no way to track them, there’s essentially no way to “catch them all” without spending my whole life playing this game and getting absurdly lucky. No

“Pokevision made the game fun”

Yes, we all want to walk around aimlessly, much like the Pokémon trainers of old. I mean, Red surely didn’t have a way of finding where Pokémon lived after having seen them once, right?

They don’t want it easy they want it viable. Unless you are in a major city it is now pretty much impossible to find anything by walking except for the most common pokemon.

Except that the in-game tracker was a big and important part of the game. With that disabled, you need SOMETHING to track nearby Pokémon.

The tampon portion has me positively shaking with rage. I swear to god I would do something about this but I don’t even know where to start.
