I, for one, would not mind one bit being swept up in the rapture by Laura and scurried away to non-existence with her. . .

Wow, i already forgot about that 10-second cameo. I wonder whose cameo has taken up the least amount of screen time? Imagine, Trent Reznor has gotten more than Ray Wise, James Marshall and Wendy Robie COMBINED!

bet you'd like to see him with a nylon pulled over his head!

you know, i wonder. . . do all other directors get lambasted on a daily basis for their use of violence or purported negative portrayal of women the way DL does? Christ, all you see EVERYWHERE is violence, sexual violence, gratuitous violence. It's A-OK on network television nearly every single evening. I see most

"I'm still laughing at the fact that they planned Sonny Jim's birthday for six months"

No. Hay. Banda.

good catch, though hard to miss. i work in a recording studio, so i am hyper-aware of it, and it only took a few seconds into her performance to notice. i thought the same exact thing. does she even NEED it?? Certainly didn't notice it on any of the previous performers, though i'm not exactly watching Twin Peaks

"the fact that being intimate with an apparent stroke patient doesn't bother her at all" gets my vote for funniest line on this page so far. though you may not have meant it to be so.

he ain't sung no campfire songs yet, so there's that going against this theory.

Happiness is the first movie i show any potential future significant other. You can learn a lot about someone by their reactions to that film.

agreed. thought the exact same thing.

Yet, for some reason, the shiver didn't compare to "Llorando" . . .

Around the dinner table, the conversation is lively.

i had thought the coordinates were needed to escape going back to the black lodge—which he's already escaped. so, they must be needed for something else. it must have to do with entering this parallel universe where Bill Hastings and Ruth Davenport saw Major Briggs?
Wait, was that Ruth or his "secretary?" Ruth was

I agree that she doesn't knowingly have some alliance with Coopleganger. I think Philip Jeffries figures into this plotline too. Or, if it were a conventional storyline, that's where he would fit in. Always leave ones self an out predicting DL. Perhaps someone has been posing as Jeffries as well. Could be Brian Eno.

Or Log Lady Intros! Miss those. . .

Me too. By the end of season 2, you know, 26 years ago, his character was slowly redeeming itself. I was kinda getting to like Bobby. Now, i really like Bobby.

Don't worry, i have it from a very reliable source! The remaining 9 episodes mostly follow James, as he falls in love with a married woman, who just uses him, and he becomes very hurt. Many, many scenes of James silently looking hurt. No dialogue. Just hurt James looking hurt.

I know. The more recaps and critiques you read, the less recaps and critiques you want to read. I prefer to get to the good part. The comments section. It's just that all critiques of THIS show seem so…. tiny.
