Still think going on a wrath spree when the literal Devil is walking the Earth and Hell is real is beyond stupid.

Me too. John had his redemption arc and he wasn't as strong as the others. He served his purpose so no need to keep him.
Honestly, I'll probably just turn on the tv and watch the ending and go back if it isn't Brooke. I don't need another 60-90 minutes of Brooke and Tom patting her on the back.
I didn't think John would make it to final three going into the episode nor was i upset when he was eliminated.
That plus the Babadook would wreck a kid for life.
John is clearly in a distant third, but I'm not mad at him being there at all. His issues are the kind of thing that can take a lifetime to fix and it's great seeing him making the steps to try and fix them.
They could have taken the cure from Elena because she was only a vamp for 2 years. She could easily still live a completely full live.
The ratings aren't THAT bad. Are they great? No. But they finished the last season the top of the bottom half, so to speak. I still there's reason to believe that there won't be renewed, but TO is decidedly better on their own. The Mikaelsons were so hard nerfed to justify the fact that Stefan and Damon were still…
I don't see it as making a play for Caroline and Matt. It feels like a rushed attempt to address the fact that a lot of these characters have done bad things. Matt and Caroline just doesn't make any sense on any level. I can't see Matt dating a vampire, I can't see Caroline dating a vampire hater, and Matt apparently…
I would kind of love that.
Agreed. Plus we're so late in the game now that the chefs are starting to run on fumes, which makes this kind of challenge 10x harder.
He's fun to watch, but it feels more like humanity-off Damon than anything that feels recognizably Stefan. So while I'm enjoying it, I'm not invested in it.
I agree that they're setting Bonnie up to die (and they ARE promising a big death) which just sucks. Because Bonnie has given up SO MUCH already.
Right, that's right! I forgot that it kinda kept him in status. I feel like this all but confirms Bon Bon is going to die before Enzo can do it. And I agree that it'd be nice if she was doing something FOR HERSELF instead of being so damn selfless still, but Benzo is still the best part of the ep.
I skipped out on most of season 7, so maybe I'm behind on this, but doesn't the cure technically reside in Elena's blood, which is why they had to hide her body? I think the theory goes that if a vamp drains Elena, that vamp would go back to being human?
I attribute it more to the circumstances- long ass days, but only 4 hours of sleep and no real down time away from the other contestants to let go of whatever is going on.
That is why the saying goes "be nice to those you meet on the way up, you don't know who you'll run into on the way down."
I still use "I'm not your bitch, bitch" to this day.
All of what you said is very true! And I'll take it one step further and say Top Chef isn't a normal team environment. You have to not only look out for your team, but yourself since only one goes home. What does she expect?
Once Jim left, I was down on the rest of the episode. I was happy to see Jamie go, because honestly, he deserved to. Emily is an absolute waste of space on this show and makes me wish they did a double elimination. For someone who bragged about having a mouth, she certainly doesn't have a spine, does she? A strong…
