This is my favorite X-Files episode & that's saying a lot because I used to be somewhat obsessed with Mulder. I just searched this episode because I was watching a top 10 X-files episodes list & it got an honorary mention. I was 99.9% sure it was the same one I was thinking of but wanted to look it up to be 100%

I was torn about Adam. He was one of my favorite characters, definitely my favorite male character(not that there's a lot of competition lol), and I absolutely LOVED his chemistry with Rachel. I kind of felt bad for him too. Yet at the same time, my true devotion lies with Rachel, no matter what antics she's up to. I

I'm always curious if someone in the comments will point out things that the recapper got wrong and I'm usually not disappointed. I've only been reading the first comments as there's so many but usually someone does in the first few. Anyway thanks for pointing this out so I didn't have to. Although I'm a bit baffled

Thank you, I was going to say that if no one else did. I liked this recap overall but it really bugs me when recappers get basic facts like that wrong.

Agree 100% about Jeremy. I said in a previous comment, it's ironic that Jeremy is constantly telling Rachel that he "sees" & "understands/knows" her when he doesn't at all. But Adam does completely. Unfortunately though(and I don't think this is a spoiler alert at this point), it looks like Jeremy will definitely be

Agree with you on all counts about Quinn. Also, she loves the guy. And even the most brilliant, successful, strong people in the world can be blinded when it comes to love. She wanted to believe him and believe in him and in their relationship. I don't get what's so shocking about that. We don't get to choose who we

Omg David and Maddie! So weird, I was just thinking of Moonlighting the other day. I was super young when it was on & probably shouldn't have been watching it but it was one of my favorite shows. I don't even remember that scene, thanks for the link. Very hot indeed!

I don't know what I just did, was trying to give you the thumbs up & accidentally hit down lol. Sorry. I was wondering if anyone was going to answer what I was thinking & you did on both issues. I think Rachel is absolutely more threatened by Grace because she knows that she's been hooking up with Adam since the

Just a quick note to the reviewer who posed the question of why Racel would ever willingly return to a show that she almost ruined in the previous season and that she knows is horribly toxic for her. I think there are a ton of psychological reasons but just from a factual viewpoint, it's implied or said outright by

Goldberg. I knew it as soon as I read the ? about Rachel's last name so considering I haven't seen the show since it's been off the air and don't have that great a memory, I'm pretty sure they used it fairly often.

She wasn't even just his girlfriend, she was his fiancé! I'm referring to the Jeremy stuff of course. I wrote the same thing in an earlier comment, that he's a hypocrite. I'm sure he'll be in next season but it would be awesome if they could find a way to keep Adam and get rid of Jeremy. He's just the worst.

I generally agreed that this was one of, if not the weakest, episodeof the season. I thought Mary's suicide was over the top and I was also disappointed in Rachel. I had some issues with the Mary character in general. I liked the concept and backstory of her. I might have even liked the actress who played her, I know

Yup, I agree, and I didn't think you were saying Christopher deserved it. I was mostly responding because I thought, since you asked, you might find it interesting that a lot of others also found the scene funny too(myself included) while others were freaking out on this other forum. All about perspective I guess.

Jeremy is awful and also a hypocrite but we'll get to that later. As far as the other girls motivations for being there, in episode 2 when Anna goes home for her father's funeral & Rachel and Adam follow her(or is it just Adam and I just love Rachel so much I see her even when she's not there?), they convince her

First off I loved this review. So funny you said the exact same thing I did in my last "review" about Rachel's lack of chemistry with Jeremy and also interesting that you said you saw her chemistry with Adam for first time here. This was actually the first episode I ever saw of the show and I wonder if that colored my

I'm sure everyone else probably knows this but I was floored when I found out that Chet(Craig Bierko? Or am I completely making that name up?)…well let's just say the actor who plays Chet in case I got his name wrong, was Carrie's "jazz guy" from SITC! How could that be the same person?! I think I'd read something

When I first saw this episode, I just could not comprehend that she was having sex for Mountain Dew. I was so confused, I thought maybe it was a code word for some kind of drug or something. Even as I saw the guy bringing her the Mountain Dew, I just couldn't wrap my brain around it. Why Mountain Dew? I hope I don't

It's really funny, I first read reviews on another site(mostly terrible, directed me to here) and there was so much debate about that scene. In short, no you're definitely not the only one who found it hilarious. But then there were people who were freaking out saying they'd been stalked & what she did was terrible,

I know no one will read this but I'll write for myself anyway lol. Joshua, I can probably forgive all your past, present and future mistakes with details due to your opening paragraph about Shiri Appleby and this line in particular, "Any scene with no Rachel in it needs more Rachel in it." Right?
