I heard that Battleship tie in video game is actually pretty decent though. Not groundbreaking or wow inducing, just.... decent.

Also in the strategy and direct control aspect reminds me of Uprising X for PS1. In that game we control a battle tank but we also have lands where we can build resource gatherer, factories and summon/teleport units to help us tackle the opponents.

Everytime I read and watch about this game it always reminds me of PS2 Dropship (minus production line though). If Carrier Command use a a ship Dropship use a very flexible Air Carrier.

Well, even in the UC universe the first mobile suit are Mono Eyed based (the Feds are literally stole the MS tech from a downed Zaku). Mini nuclear reactor tech is still a long way to go for us (or we found a brand new power source that can be more compact). Ceramic alloy is much more realistic.
