Apologies if this has been posted before, but Moore’s equally disgusting lawyer tried to insinuate Velshi would have no problem with dating a teenage girl because of his ostensibly Muslim background. Stephanie Ruhle tore him a new one:

I know few man in 50th who all over sudden wants to procreate.

In the clip above, Stewart is asked about how he reacted to the revelations and C.K.’s admittance of guilt, and says he was “stunned.”

It’s called a “baby shower,” not a “lady who is pregnant” shower. The idea is to “shower” the baby with shit s/he’ll need, e.g., blankets, onesies, passies, etc. So fuck that surrogate-shaming shit. However the baby gets there, it’s about THE BABY.

Preach. And congrats on Little Miss Pinwheel.

Listen. Having a THIRD baby shower seems a little tacky, but for people saying that Kim can’t have a shower because “she’s not even pregnant,” I just have this to say: fuck you very much. My daughter was born via surrogate, and I was a joyful and excited expectant mother even though I couldn’t gestate her myself. I

Please don’t even entertain the notion of Bernie running again

Here comes the liberal circular firing squad.

I just wish he hadn’t said how these women admired him and that alone made him think it was okay.

I got divorced and managed to not masturbate in front of anyone without their consent. ‘tis possible.

I mean, on one hand, I feel ya, but on the other hand, literally any debate on the internet is capable of devolving into ad hominem vitriol. It’s not really a meaningful standard anymore. I’ve seen it happen over conservations about pubic hair.

I think it’s more than that: a lot of these guys can probably count Louis CK as a friend, or in the very least a mentor. It’s a big thing to go after a peer, and a bigger thing to go after someone like that. It’s not a justification for Louis CK’s softball treatment, and I’m disappointed in the weak late night

I was very ashamed of myself for believing all the rumors about her being a greedy old lady defaming an upstanding brand because she wasn’t smart enough to do what most toddlers can. The documentary about this case absolutely horrified me and I recommend it to anyone I hear talking shit about her.

Good. A broken hip often marks the beginning of the end for a lot of older folks. It’s the nudge onto a downward spiral of fractures, hospitalizations, infections, nursing homes, bed sores, pneumonia, to eventual death.

So romantic. Like Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester, except without the reading books parts. Or the morals parts. He might have a first wife locked up somewhere, though.

Bullshit. He didn’t know there were accusers. Nor did anyone else. The one accuser people were aware of went on record saying it wasn’t CK. There was no reason to just blindly assume that what was at the time no more than a rumor (to most everyone’s knowledge) must obviously be true.

Two publications that both broke stories about public figures committing sexual misconduct within hours of each other. It’s an easy mistake to make and it doesn’t make their criticism any less valid.

Here’s the simple fact: The Washington Post did journalism the right way, and Jezebel did not.

“Come here, come here, come here,” he says.

I hate to break it to you but I think the reason you didn’t make it in human rights law isn’t your lack of privilege but rather the weakness of your arguments.
