This occurred to me too. Not at all defending David Cross but it’s not like a Weinstein accusation where the two individuals met once, mediated by other staff etc. It was a decade ago between people who have strong social connections in common, if not an existing relationship themselves.

Exactly. The only way he could pull something like this off is if they didn’t tell him. Since he’s such a warm and devoted spouse, I’m sure he’d pick up on that right away. Hell, she may have taken off ages ago and no one’s noticed.
