@Saibh: Never change.
@Saibh: Never change.
Black Ops for game of the year? Even though half a million PC gamers couldn't play it the first week of release?
@Almightywhacko: Bullshit. Devs are expected to have DLC plans when they are in the early planning stages of a game, when asking for funding. It's beyond obvious that they cut out the ending of Fallout 3 in favour of "making it better later" for the affordable price of about $10.
@hazuki: Well, there are games that deal with conflict resolution and such as well. I remember reading about wargames developed by the military to help train personnel in the middle-east with peaceful problem-solving with the civilian population. It wasn't a big blockbuster hit of course, more like a small indie game…
@arionfrost: Well, of course they pirate it. And buy it. It's a top of the line shooter, and they want to play it just like anyone else.
Shepard.
While we are on the subject of modern wargames, have anyone ever stopped to consider how, for example, Russian or middle-eastern citizens feel about these games?
A brand new Starcraft 2 game: $50
I wonder how you say "Patrolling the Mojave makes me wish for a nuclear winter" in Japanese...
I own 92 games on Steam, many of which I haven't even played! Crazy winter and summer sale!
@Maritan: You and me both friend. Bought the game yesterday, and still unable to play it due to the heavy stuttering.
I applaud you for not going. Review events is the games industry fine and polished way of bribing for better reviews.
Oh hey guys, is that Golden Eye? Sure looks spiffy.
Well uh...
I braved a damned Snowstorm to get this game, I was wet and miserable when I got home - and the damn game gives me this.
I can't remember my parents playing with me, or much at all when I was a kid. Maybe when I was real young, but as far as I can remember, I went out to play with the kids on the block, and later on I played games.
Say what? A movie service NOT for Americans? Impossible, I won't believe it.
And to think how little of the money Obsidian will actually get. Since they probably have a hefty cut of their incomes going straight to Bethesda in royalties.
