I tried playing Tetris 99 but it just confused me. Can you actually do anything “on purpose” in these games to your opponent?It felt like people were constantly targeting me in Tetris 99, but I couldn’t figure out how to target others, or do anything other than play Tetris.

Are you talking about enemy highlighting scopes? I never considered those to be thermal, as in heat sensing. I think they are talking about a completely different type of scope. I might be wrong though.

I’m not convinced the BoR or any system of law outside of Trump does what Trump wants still exists in this country.

I was JUST thinking about this movie the other day for no apparent reason! I haven’t seen it since probably 2003/04 but damn do I remember loving it. 

The seasonal model is exhausting and I hate it. But I’m guessing it won’t be going away anytime soon, if at all. 

Maybe I’ve just been away from the creature feature film genre too long, but Jurassic World shocked the hell out of me with some of its deaths. Bryce Dallas Howard’s assistant especially. She seemed like a competent character who was never “marked for death” in the traditional sense of a creature feature movie, but…

People had a lot to say about this, wow. I get where you are all coming from and, yes, I’m approaching this as a filthy Marvel casual. I do not read the comics. But neither, I imagine, do the majority of folks playing this game. Most are more familiar with the MCU like it or not. 

I’m sure this game is a blast but I can’t get over the fact that it looks like a bad parody of the MCU.

You can’t spend 10 years getting as equated with the MCU actors and then throw this at us RIGht after endgame became the biggest movie in history. It’s just looks so...offbrand. 

As someone who has worked with major publishers for several years I can almost 100 percent guarantee the McElroys had no idea this was happening. Publishers do stuff like this all the time and typically, even when the authors find out they can't do much to stop it having signed contracts themselves. 

I’m just curious how this is going to work lore-wise. Bungie hinted at creating narrative-based choices that would have a bigger impact in the game world back with the Drifter/Vanguard split but that went nowhere. I only watched the first season away back when in premiered in my freshman year of college. I remember a show about two brothers chasing down their mom’s killer and hunting urban legends like Hook Man. Now they're killing God. So this is essentially a live action Final Fantasy.
