People had a lot to say about this, wow. I get where you are all coming from and, yes, I’m approaching this as a filthy Marvel casual. I do not read the comics. But neither, I imagine, do the majority of folks playing this game. Most are more familiar with the MCU like it or not.

I’m sure this game is a blast but I can’t get over the fact that it looks like a bad parody of the MCU.

You can’t spend 10 years getting as equated with the MCU actors and then throw this at us RIGht after endgame became the biggest movie in history. It’s just looks so...offbrand.

I’m just curious how this is going to work lore-wise. Bungie hinted at creating narrative-based choices that would have a bigger impact in the game world back with the Drifter/Vanguard split but that went nowhere. I personally do not feel like my Guardian, who had been wielding the slight and fighting the Darkness

I enjoyed the expansion as someone who has never played Alan Wake. But I also read a complete synopsis of the game and its DLC before playing AWE. I’m just really bummed we apparently aren’t getting a resolution to Control! The Hiss are still there, Dylan is still in a coma, will The Oldest House ever open again? It’s

One of my very good friends who happens to be a super gay liberal once told me I have the fashion sense of a middle aged dad trying to impress his ex-wife’s new husband. Does that count?

Did people...actually play as Krieg? He’s the worst Bodrerlands character, and that’s saying something.

100 percent this.

Why do companies think the world is still hungry for this grimdark BS. We are LIVING this grimdark BS, we don’t want to ESCAPE to it! Seriously.

Same for The Boys.

That I’m not sure, I hope not. I play on Playstation but exclusives blow.
I could see some handwaving on Sepiks being rebuilt (again) since the Fallen are the central baddies in Beyond Light (that we’ve seen). And I suppose Savathun has already rezed Nokris so that could hand wave away Omnigul’s return.

But I agree. I

I don’t know, I’ve been a casual D2 player for the most part but still really enjoyed Leviathan. Particularly Menagerie.

I think we’re all happy to see those two go. And of course, we are getting strikes from the Cosmodrome in D1 back, I think, though not sure how that will function lore wise unless they are tweaked a lot. And Europa is bound to have at least 1 new strike.

The thing that kills me is the loss of so. many. strikes.

They’re removing leviathan, one of the most interesting places in-game.

Just 51 more and they will have officially, uh, caught...them all?

At that point why not create your own fictional world? I feel like fanfiction is just an excuse for bad writers to get complacent and never be encouraged to become better writers.

I will stick with being a Triceratops. I worked too hard to stop wearing that outfit.

This is a minor irk but the monkey’s paw actually hasn’t been around since Destiny’s launch. If the monkey’s paw is Eververse, and Destiny is referring to the franchise. As a *Day-one, D1, Beta player* I remember very distinctly Bungie’s original promise of no microtransactions. We had a full, blissful year of D1

I got my first crown last night on Hex a Gone, I couldn’t believe it. Even crazier, I was in bed playing remote play off my ps4 on my laptop while my wife slept so I couldn’t scream when it happened.

I assume this just applies to the PC version? Haven’t seen any hacking on PS4, just a lot of sore winners trying to plunger grab people off stages.

*Whooosh!
