First RPG I ever played and still my favorite 20 years later. Had to rent it from the local video store each weekend, little by little. Had to deal with my game being erased more than once. But I eventually beat it. And it became my all time favorite. I have it memorized pretty well now. But I remember cutting my

Gross. So: Integrity and Faithlessness wasn’t anything to write home about, but still this is a step in the wrong direction. You just can’t put a JRPG into mobile form and have it be any good.

I preferred the reputation system, personally.

Do you still have to buy things with different tokens on every.damn.planet because I’m not coming back until they fix that nonsense.

On that note, anyone still playing D1? Because I’ve been seriously thinking about playing it again. I remember the it joke right after D2 launched was that the end game of D2 was going

It’s really not rough at all! We mostly play very different game. I love JRPG’s and she loves games like Fallout and Skyrim. But we also like to game together so we splitscreen games like Borderlands and 7 Days to Die. Recently we started playing Swords of Ditto which is great.

Have not looked into phone co-op because

Chick-fil-a can go suck a rosary. Any fast food place that discriminates against the LGBTQ community doesn’t deserve millennial money.

Quick question as someone who has not had time to keep up with the insanity that has been the KH franchise, are they still including Final Fantasy characters?

In the first two game, Final Fantasy featured prominently. But I noticed up top you say “Final Fantasy inspired.” So, have they dropped the Final Fantasy part of

I suppose there is no word on whether or not this will be a real co-op game, or online multiplayer game. Because there is a difference. Those of us with spouses that like to game together keep getting shafted by a lack of true co-op experiences.

And before you ask, no, I will not spend $2k on a new TV, console,

Yes, and I am right there with you.

I don’t get it. I mean I get it. But over 90 percent of the references I don’t get.

Does this game have couch co-op?

Not that it matters because I’m on PS4, but I’m just curious. Sounds like it would be a lot of fun to play with my wife. We put a ton of hours into 7 Days to Die for ps4, but it eventually got old from lack of updates.

But don’t you have to spend money for those challenges?

I feel like the skill gap in this game blew up overnight. I was doing really good back in late December early January, now I can’t last past the top 50 if I’m directly engaging people. So instead I just sneak and hide for the majority of the game until there are

Yeah, there is a big difference between fan-fiction and a re-telling. Particularly when it comes to something as universal as Shakespeare. It’s a bit like saying Star Wars is fan-fic because it exploits Joseph Campbell’s “Hero with a Thousand Faces.”

That’s not fan-fiction, it’s historical fiction. I say go for it.

The difference there is that King and Tolkien did the leg work. They created deep, intricate worlds. Whether or not you “like” them is irrelevant. Fan-fic writers get all of the praise without having to put in any of the work.

They walk into someone else’s sandbox, stand in front of their castle and say “I made this.”

There is a slight difference with the Lovecraft mythos is that “some” of it is in the public domain, and thus the legality of it is decided. There is a big difference, I think, in writing fan-fiction of an extant author, and one that has been dead for decades.

That’s like apples and oranges though.

It would be completely different if you, say, brewed you own unique beer and then found out that other people were brewing the same beer only it tasted kinda off and sour-and maybe even a little toxic.

If people love something-truly, deeply love something- and they’re inspired by

You say that, but I’ve never once heard “oh, you should read this fan-fic,” and thought “yes, this is definitely something I want to do with my time.:

Oh absolutely. I mean, just make the thing happen like a normal, mainline Pokemon game=profit.

All of this sounds...bad. I don’t understand why Nintendo doesn’t just make a CONSOLE VERSION of a NORMAL POKEMON GAME. That’s all people want and it will literally PRINT MONEY.

Okay, well I’m 31 godamn years old and all I hear is Yammy. Sooooo fuck all y’all.
