How about, and I know this is shocking, just having a character have black skin and still writing them like a normal friggin human being? I know that may sound like some kind of pipe dream, but I'm sure it's possible.

Outside of some Wii ports, I don't see them making many New 3DS-only games. Stranger things have happened, but why cut off the 3DS installed base? Instead, I expect a lot of games to have optional c-stick camera controls and other add-on functionality.
