Played a few rounds last night! It was pretty great. Planning a quick write up for TAY :D

Disappointed that the controls are so wonky. Nintendo could patch it, I suppose, but that seems unlikely. Still excited to get my hands on it this weekend, even with the mostly mediocre reviews. And if I hate it, I guess I’ll just go play some Star Fox 64 3D and sob quietly to myself.

I gave my launch day 3DS to my wife, picked up the Zelda XL, then a 2DS, then the Zelda New XL. So I have four 3DS in my house. When I tape them all together it forms an 11DS.

In my experience the lines are way better than other conferences like PAX. Plus there’s more new stuff than any other convention. E3 is just way more exciting because big name companies announce big name titles and then you (maybe) get to play them a bit.

Jango you silly fox. I want to know if I can order amiibo off Amazon Japan. I know amiibo aren’t region locked! I have plenty from Japan already, but this could make things muuuuuuch easier.
