Breughel (the elder, and his sons) had a series of paintings entitled "The Triumph of Death". I don't recall how many were painted between the father and sons, but there are probably more than ten out there. They are all very elaborate depictions of death overwhelming the living, no matter the person's age, wealth,

Came here to post this. The Mars is still in service, and at 85 tons (loaded) it is considerably larger than what China is developing.

We definitely need more 2-tone cars.

With respect to a defamation suit: truth is an absolute defense.

Next Monday's QOTD:

Some see rust and bullet holes, I see patina!

Monaco. The juxtaposition of redneck, 'murican NASCAR brawling through the streets of one of Europe's most prestigious cities would be worth watching even if they couldn't find any part of the track wide enough to pass on.

An early F-35 mock-up!

Absolutely. Back in the 90's/early 2000's my parents had two or three of these Panther Mercurys and loved them. They had tried a pick up truck, a Pontiac Grand Prix, a Honda Accord and my dad even picked up an old and cheap but absolutely mint condition Peugeot 504 in one of those "it looked like fun so I bought it"

Besides the obvious roadside utility, I find Zip Ties quite useful in the garage for either holding something in place or keeping it out of the way.

Kaiju? Very convenient how the footage doesn't show the footprints. Giant monster conspiracy!

The KR200. Yeah, I know it's a cool micro car. Yeah, I know Germany was strapped for resources and all they could build was enclosed scooters. Yeah, I know even Elvis has one. And yeah - - I almost bought one years ago... But coming from the people who brought you the Bf109 and the Me262 it's kind of a let down in

Alfa Giulia sedans had a great racing history, IIRC better than the coupes and certainly better than the convertibles. Ok, they are a "sport sedan" but they had more "sport" than a heck of a lot of "sport cars" made during the time. Plus they're Alfas, so that alone should allow them to play in this contest.

$300K for one a few years ago? If the rest of the exotic market is any indication, that should put this in the $400-$500K range. For that kinda' money I think I'd settle for teh Stratos that's also in the auction.

Studebaker Avanti. Specifically the R2 with the paxton supercharger. The R2 and the modified R3 set a number of performance records for its time.

Apart from contemporary frames, they have one of the best vintage collections I've found.

See: Stambovsky v Ackley (New York). the court found the home to be haunted "as a matter of law". As "tangerinetres" pointed out above, the court isn't saying ghosts are real but that the reputation of a house as being "haunted" impacts its value and therefore needs to be disclosed.

PY worked best on the M Coupe.
