Fair point. I think the reason this episode hit so hard was because of how early in the series it happens. In Brotherhood, its episode#4. We’re just getting our feet wet, learning who the characters are, how the world works...BAM! father just experimented on his daughter & now we have to mercy kill her, welcome to FMA!
