Well, they can't pull a DriveClub and offer DLC because there isn't any to offer, they included every Halo 1-4 MP ever. i'm guessing store credit, anyone who bought the game in the first week gets $5-10 to spend...who knows, we'll find out soon enough.
god damn it. i want to be done with this game!! But i already know what is going to happen, all my friends are going to get the expansion and i'll be stuck playing by myself and that's no fun. So i'll end up giving Bungie more money for content i should have gotten with my original $60.
i have Comcast and it works for me!
It's been a year since the console's launch, and Microsoft's third home console finds itself in an interesting spot. On the one hand, many of its initial promises—to unite the devices beneath our televisions and reimagine how we consume home entertainment—remain unfulfilled. On the other, the Xbox One now has a broad…
the "Game of the Year" edition of Destiny that will be released a year from now is going to be great. 3+ raids, 12+ strikes, maybe an actual story, chat, matchmaking for heroic strikes and raids, a shader vendor with more then 4 shaders, all of the patches, for $60. But right now...ehh?
i would buy the sleeping dogs remaster at that price if they offered it as a digital code...does gamestop offer digital codes or just discs?
the matchmaking problems for Halo MCC are pathetic! Someone needs to be fired at MS for this, i'm dead serious. 343i is a division within Microsoft for God's sake! If the 343i and/or Xbox Studios people walk outside and go two buildings down they will run into the people who build servers/cloud services/email systems…
this is great and all but ummm, whatever?? I MIGHT revisit this game in like 4-6 months, when the DLC packs are on sale and we hit a new releases dry spell, but bungie did everything in their power to push me away from this game and they succeeded so now its off to Halo MCC.
Shouldn't we be aren't worried that they went missing in the first place?
Better sidequests. We don't need a chess minigame in Watch Dogs. Hell, even though it was fun, we also don't need a spider tank minigame. We need good sidequests that actually make sense in the context of the game. So: Hacking, infiltration, data-mining, that sort of thing. Make them fun, make them worth doing on…
Halo MCC is a special case i would imagine. 4 complete games in one package, 1000GS total would have been kinda low i think. i'm sure every other game for XB1 will keep the 1000 + 750 possible DLC formula.
i've fallen down that pit in Titanfall a few times and jumped my way out, a missed 1/3 of a match trying one time, but i managed to do it. kinda fun actually.
Y U No Xbox :(
i think it is ok in this case, mainly because the actual "content" isn't actually there, these are just hollow spaces that will eventually lead to / be filled with actual content. There is nothing wrong with building the places ahead of time.
Jubilee is too high, i would argue that she should be hit by a car, that was thrown by Superman.
"KOBLAGU" is a nice touch...
you blew it Fahey! You set it up beautifully, it was right there and you blew it!
A good direction for Kotaku to take, especially given the way that games are changing. It used to be that games would get released and that was it. But now we are moving into an always-connected, ever evolving state of games. With DLC packs and patches, the games released day one are not the same games on day 50, or…
man, BitF was so good week after week. i will miss it. Are we going to have another reader vote for a replacement or just keep the current roster?
