I just have mine connected via an ethernet plug in the wall, works pretty well. For me, it acts more like an HDMI extender from my computer that runs through the existing network cabling in my home.

Based on all the info that has been released, this looks like a huge expansion. Natural disasters, climate change, 9 new leaders, World Congress, huge engineering projects like canals, dams, bridges etc., new tech, wonders, districts, units etc. I am very excited for this.
