I saw this as part of a month of Bresson films at Melbourne Cinematheque a few years back. Pretty much wanted to jump off a bridge after that.
Even more amazing that Jim Broadbent is in two scenes with him in Superman IV and has no dialogue. What a waste.

Sumner was a very prolific actor on Australian television for decades, and I've only now just realised that was him in Star Wars. His native Australian accented voice was quite distinctive, but obviously he sounds very different in Star Wars.
