It'd be amusing if the first season ends on the exact same literal cliffhanger as the 1969 film, only to get cancelled thereafter.

They were fine in season one, but in season two everyone becomes just hideous. I haven't been able to progress with it from there.

I've never read Tucker Max, but having now read this article, I realise one of my former housemates (who had huuuuuuuge issues with women) almost certainly did.

Wonder if creators WIlson and Maddock will actually be involved this time. Universal bought their story for Tremors 5 but didn't involve them otherwise.

And what he thinks of Real Rob.

I didn't, but I'm happy for those who did.

Still no Herman's Head retrospective. What the hell, AV Club?

I don't think Mad About You even got a full DVD release until fairly recently. Just the first three seasons were out for a long time. Hard for a show to stay in the collective consciousness if people can't find it.

Like most multicam family sitcoms of the time, you didn't watch it because it was good, you watched it because it was on. Banal would be too much of a compliment.

Manimal will go from NBC to Discovery.

I hate the term "millennials." Suggests that today's young people are uniquely vacuous and lesser than everyone older, when every generation beats up on the one that came after it.

Magnum's near-death and rebirth (end of S7/start of s8) would be pretty amazing in musical form.

Or a smirking comedy redo, ala Starsky and Hutch or 21 Jump Street.

I've been called it a couple of times online myself, and I always throw it back at them. Essentially they're saying that having one's wife get busy with another man (one who is non-white, to boot) is the absolute worst thing that could happen to you. Like a lot of epithets, it says way more about the person using it

I grew up during that whole saga. It was still getting dredged up in the press four years ago.

It's kinda like the Madeline McCann disappearance for the Brits. It's always puzzling why one case becomes a media storm while others fly under the radar.

The CW Beauty and the Beast lasted a season longer than the eighties version. So, uh, that.

Did you like stock footage? Watch Galactica 1980.

While the DVDs may be out of print in the US, they are still available here in Australia. The set of all the released discs to date is going pretty cheap at the moment: https://www.madman.com.au/c…

I started with Volume 5 (Kentucky Nighmare), which was a good way to do it.
