Carbon capture is weird and hasn’t shown any ability to be economically or technically feasible. Pumping CO2 into the ground is about as likely as “clean coal.” Its one of those things that is always 5 years away.

This. Slavery ended in 1865, but there are people alive today who couldn’t legally vote! That’s insane!
White people don’t . . . wash their legs?!
There’s also this weird thing with an iron cross tattoo she has. Like, this progressive Democrat is a SECRET NAZI.
The Trump taxcut was $1.5 trillion, so you could give $9,000+ in subsidies to everyone buying an EV if you repealed it!
CA still has good incentives but they taper off at certain income levels. I got a raise so I need to buy one before my next set of tax returns are done! :(
An EV charged on the average utility electricity mix in the US still emits far fewer emissions per mile than an ICE car. That difference skyrockets in states with lots of renewables like CA and, increasingly, the mid-west.
Hey, the Royal Enfield Interceptor is only $5,800! That’s as British as a chicken tikka masala!
Yup, Supercharging is the killer app. I agree the Bolt feels cheaper than the Tesla, but its on-par for a $28-32k hatch.
Does anybody except Tesla build an EV that isn’t a fucking SUV thingy? The Bolt is at least a normal hatchback, but christ, nobody wants to take on the Model 3 directly?
Bolts are nice and cheap right now. Its a mature design, too, with plenty of parts if you get in a fender bender.
The only real competitor to me for the Model 3 is the Bolt. I like the anonymous styling better, and the fact that it is a hatch. Plus, it can be repaired way more easily than the Tesla, gets a pretty decent range in 2020 at 260, and rides nicely. It is limited to like 50kW fast-charging, which kinda sucks, but…
Yeah its a very fine distinction, but firing off this blog post without really understanding what the court was doing was reckless on Aaron’s part. The guy in this case won a bunch of money against the dealer, and was fully made whole for the damage he suffered.
The ‘92 SHO. Yamaha-designed heads for the win!
I was surprised to see that plug-in Outlander the other day. Actually looks nice! And they’re a bargain. Would totally work as a city workhorse that you can take skiing or to the beach. I kinda dug it!
I’ve seen less concerning coordinated actions against judicial proceedings from the Manson Family.
Your construction would swallow rule. Ordinary negligence (“Oh shit, we forgot to tighten the lug nuts to spec!”) is not a failure to disclose a material fact (“We never tighten down the lug nuts to save time as a policy, we just don’t tell our customers that”)
It’s too early in the day to be working this blue.
Anybody smarter than me care to chime in on whether gas turbine engines can be more efficient at converting fuel into energy than an ICE? I thought turbines were more efficient only at larger sizes/power output, but maybe with the right materials they could be scaled down (especially if they are running at a constant…
Yup, its kind of a shame how shitty the inter-city charging network is. Even in LA, unless you live in a single-family house or next to one of the few Tesla super-chargers (or have one at work), charging sucks. You can make it work, but it takes work, which is way beyond what most people are willing to do.
