You do you and read whatever you want into that movie. But giving credit to something that's not there will do nothing but further feed comments like the ones coming from Scorsese and Copolla, as these movies get misrepresented by their fans to make them something they're not. 

I think most Marvel movies are passable, well-made, but mostly hollow entertainment. I’ll watch most of them if they’re on to kill two hours, but I’m hardly a huge fan. Best superhero movies in my book remain from outside the MCU - The Dark Knight, Logan, Into the Spiderverse, Spiderman 2 and X2.

Joker’s heading for 900 million+ without China, Aquaman did 1.1 billion, Suicide Squad did 3/4 of a billion without China, even the much reviled BvS opened high enough to do near 900 million. Wonder Woman isn’t even in the DCEU top 3, and with Batman being out back on track, they’ll be printing…
