He’s the more decorated athlete and the first black athlete to win a gold medal in an individual event at the Winter Olympics. She’s only won a bronze medal; however, she was the first American luger of either gender to win an Olympic medal in an individual event (which makes her a groundbreaker too). I believe she

Neither is League of Legends, yet this is the world we live in.

...Davis, 35, was the first African American to win an individual gold medal in the 2016 games.

I get why he’s upset but I feel like that he’s being a bad sport. Part of being a great athlete is reacting with grace when losing a game (or in this case, not being chosen). He’s just making himself look like a spoiled entitled crybaby throwing a temper tantrum.

This is less throwing shade and more having a fit.

I heard a radio story about the LL Bean return policy last year and their first attempt to overhaul their return policy was to start letting employees gently ask people this question. Before they were required to be judgement free no matter what was being returned.

I worked at a bookstore when I was in high school. We regularly had people try to return books that they had

REI had to do the same thing a couple years ago. They had a lifetime return policy, so people would do things like thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in a pair of boots then return them. Now it is a one year policy.

An old girlfriend of mine was a manager at a Victoria’s Secret. She told me people would regularly bring back undergarments/lingerie that had clearly been worn.

People who abuse return policies really get my goat. I briefly dated this loser when I was a teen, who would yearly go to Nordstrom and replace the shitty worn-out sneakers he’d been wearing every day for the past year, and return them for some brand new ones. I was with him when he did this, and it spelled doom for

Confession: I once returned a LLBean jacket because the zipper kept jamming and the pocket snaps fell apart - six years after purchasing. In my defense I paid a crapload for a shell jacket that was billed as a bargain because it would last forever. That was always the deal with Bean: it would cost more, but would wear

I work at a department store and it is mind-boggling what people will bring in.

I was in the return line at the Freeport store about 5 years ago. The customer in front was an older gentleman who was returning a pair of boat shows because they wore out. The clerk asked him how long he had them and he told her “10 years.” She asked him politely if he agreed that was a very reasonable length of time

Good. Similar to REI, and I think even they are too lax. Companies should stand by their products, but it makes me so angry when people knowingly take advantage of the good will.

Displaced Eagles fan pretending to work today while watching the parade.

It would be hard to top Chase Utley’s “World Fucking Champions” after the 2008 World Series victory, but this might’ve done it.

Wow, Kelce has done a great job hiding the fact that he moonlights in the WWE.

If a wrestler had cut a promo this good, it’d be all I could think about for days. This was absolutely phenomenal

The line between passion and insanity is dangerously thin, and Kelce just powerbombed it. WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I’m very happy that this young man has found a stable home. I’m sure the ink is not dry on the movie deal. I am however going to comment of TFA. Education in America is the only place where you can have no credentials, experience or necessarily aptitude and find a job. Of course this is also true for the highest
