“All Along The Watchtower” is pretty pants without Hendrix’s guitar arrangement; the lyrics are nonsense howl-growl moon-june filler and there’s no tune to speak of.

The only good bits of “All Along The Watchtower” were put in it by Hendrix, without them it’s just a nothing lump of filler.

Wiggle Wiggle would like to have a word with you.

Yeah I’m all for a little snark and sarcasm but god, it’s laid on so thick in every single article now. It’s just gotten obnoxious and juvenile and I feel like I’m reading something written by a try-hard high-schooler. Then again, the general quality of writing here has gone downhill since the great Kinjapocalypse.

Question for the AV Club staff: when did the site’s house style officially change to “be so smug and snarky that whatever credible point might be buried in the article is invalidated”?

He’s probably defending it because he was in it, and interviewers ask him questions about it. Occam’s razor, and all that.

The people who try to decide for the rest of us that “you can’t joke about [anything], when [bad thing] is happening” - are the worst.

It broke his brain like Obama’s joke broke Trump’s at the WHCD. Amazing how that happens to the kind people who coined “snowflake” as an insult.

Not gonna lie, that's one of my favorite debate insults.  Up there with your not Jack Kennedy.  It sums up Rudy so well and so quickly.  Still sums him up.  A failed loser only known for being in charge on the worst day in New York history.  He handled 9/11 really poorly as well.  Wish he had been handled like Short

“THAT’S A BLOODY OUTRAGE, IT IS! I’M TAKING THIS ALL THE WAY TO THE PRIME MINISTER!

OI! GUS!”

Before I left my newspaper job in March, I did a phone interview with Victoria Jackson to promote an appearance she was going to make in my rural Tennessee county (she lives in the Nashville area now). I pretty much avoided politics, and I had a fine time talking to her — she was quite complimentary of the resulting

She always struck me as bubbly and fun. But that was her persona... I remember seeing her mentioned a few times by Fox News once Trump was running.

Will they be more or less surprised that Citizen Kane was nearly 80 years before Trump became president.

A pop singer wearing provocative clothing? What an incredibly novel concept that’s definitely never been done before!

Septuagenarians have gotten out of prison and killed again. She’s a danger to society in that she’s an unknown quantity. She was 19 when she stabbed Rosemary LaBianca over a dozen times and held a pillow over her face while she was being stabbed by others. No one has any real idea if she’d be inclined to try to kill

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Last night I watched the ever so awful and seasonally appropriate Bloodfreak, which lived up to my expectations of a giant mess.

Also given how his new records almost always get Grammy noms, it’s surprising that this one didn’t. (His Frank Sinatra cover albums got nominated for Grammys, and you’d be hard placed to find anyone who ranked them with the best of his work. Meanwhile this album was talked about as an outside contender for an album of

It’s hard to justify spending that much money on Friday the 13th movies, even acknowledging that the Friday the 13th movies are way more fun than Nightmare on Elm Street (which are way more fun than Feederico Fellini) and also that Friday the 13th Part 2 is surprisingly well made movie.
