I knew a woman who would train her dog to fall to the ground and play dead every time she said “Die!” So obviously she’d work this into dinner-party jokes e.g. (circa 2005), “Aspen, would you rather embrace George Bush’s failed Iraq policy... or die!?” Laughs ensue.

I can’t wait to see the foot chase with Keanu Reeves!

There you go again.

Whedon has been extremely quiet over the increasingly loud backlash over the film—the last he’s made to date.”

You should read the Smoking Gun article that, I believe, exposed the whole “A Million Little Pieces” hoax. It’s not just that he tried to pull a quick one with the publishing industry, there’s actually some stuff there that makes him look like a real shit.

Point of order: Dylan has more than 600 songs. Especially if you count the Bootleg series, it’s like, shiiiiit.

I forgot that it was Joe Biden who, during a primary debate in 2008, said “There’s only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun, a verb and 9-11.”

Part 2 is my favorite. I find it genuinely scary because it’s tethered to reality (unlike everything past what, 3, 4?), and it makes very good use of a primal fear: being hunted in an unfamiliar environment by a predator who lives in the environment.

Don’t forget the “Fraud at Polls!” headline... spookily prescient.

A couple months ago (probably to take my mind off the anxiety of the election), I was fixated on “The Ice Storm,” which I haven’t seen for many years. I guess being a suburbanite with my own family made me think about it more than when I’d previously seen it. But it stirred up a lot of questions. Why does Kevin Kline

There’s an old saying in show business: if you have to tell you’re a big deal, you’re not.

Damn I’m loathe to wade into any of this, but...Bob Dylan’s “Rough and Rowdy Ways” was fucking brilliant, and unexpectedly relevant.

If your tired of poor living in tiny apartment, you need a real online home based job to make more than $14k. Last month i have made $15738 from this home job. Very simple and easy to do and earnings from this are just awesome for details.

Yesterday is when the facade of overturning the election truly died. I went on Facebook to see the reactions, and the most fervent of my Trump-supporting “friends” was damning a peaceful transition and saying “we” should take the country back by force.

You merely have to look at the poster (him reclining on the car hood) to see that the movie’s fashions captured that brief transition from ‘80s cool to ‘90s cool.

Something I really liked about this show was how it avoids the typical shit you’d see on a network TV show, if someone were called in to “punch up” the script.

I say Pierre Boulle. A French novelist who wrote both “Planet of the Apes” and “Bridge on the River Kwai.” How many people know those movies but have no idea who that guy is?

“Now the world don’t move, to the beat of just one drum! What might be right for you, may not be right for—aww shit, nevermind.

Especially when they’ve been warned so many times.

Is that the reason that you’re asking?
