Oftentimes the simplest explanation is the correct one...

“I order all those involved with this farce to desist or in my passion I shall kill everyone by giving them syphilis!” - Tommy Lee

I don’t envy the Trent Reznor assistant who has to explain to Ted Cruz that “let’s go dancing on the backs of the bruised” is not meant literally.

During the last 24 hours I’ve been obsessed with the song “Born in the U.S.A.” I heard it on the radio, and decided to look up the lyrics... my mind was blown.

They met on the Internet?

It may seem very distasteful to say this, but in thinking of what pop culture I’ve absorbed the last several days, there’s something I can’t deny: the Colorado case of the man who murdered his family.

Couple serious questions, to whoever has opinions:

This should give some insight:

He says he “didn’t really enjoy” the series’ previous films, adding that he hates “the cornball shit.”

It has been forever since I’ve seen “The Man Who Wasn’t There,” but I do remember Billy Bob Thornton’s character, stoic to the point of silent, he seemed totally willing to put in an honest day’s work as long as he could enjoy just very simple pleasures, like his cigarettes (in real life he probably would’ve succumbed

If you’re looking for a fairly apples-to-apples comparison in the “What if Obama did it?” game, I’d say look no further than if during the 2008 campaign he was asked if he considered John McCain a hero and Obama had said something dismissive capped by “I like people who WEREN’T captured.”

Had the fortune to see his performance on the big screen a few months ago, with a 50th-anniversary showing.

I’ve seen this concept play out with a couple conservative friends on Facebook. One week they were posting these finger-wagging memes about how no one has a right not to be offended, and how in an truly free society you will be offended and don’t make a big deal out of it grow a skin stop whining etc etc.... Literally

Give him SOME credit... he appears to have finally removed Bill O’Reilly’s dick from his mouth.

Couldn’t tell ya’... as a fan of the novel, as soon as I read that “For What It’s Worth” was used in the movie, I decided not to see it.

Good for CNN.

It’s all so strange if you remember the time when the Republicans’ selling point was that family values bullshit.

When he was at the White House a few weeks ago, I realized it was the first time I’d heard his voice (oh I’m sure I’ve heard his songs played in public and whatnot, but I’m never been aware of it).

That’s strikes me as reminiscent of when Geraldo interviewed Charles Manson in the ‘80s, i.e., the subject is too crazy to be interviewed and the interviewer exploiting that to enhance his own brand.
