C’mon, how could you read this headline and not hear “Vacation all I ever wanted...”?

Amid all the horrible things to point out about Ted Nugent (many years ago he was being interviewed by a local radio station in my area and went off an a weird rant that included racial slurs e.g., the n-word), he’s really bad with the language.

But they don’t mention that when going under he said “sleazy” and then, after a pause, “demure.”

Upon learning that there’s a “take a knee” joke in the first episode...

Yes. I keep going back to what she did to her parents.

...the public libraries are “like Sodom and Gomorrah,” filled with “sex, drugs, and rock and roll.”

I heard yesterday people making fun of her personal life (never married, three cancelled engagements). Usually going after someone’s personal life is a bridge too far for me, but, then again, that’s pretty much what she did to this kid, so...

I like this review, so I feel bad about nitpicking, but re: the first paragraph...

Yes, there were news stories about the ratings of the Roseanne revival this week, but there were also news stories about the ratings of another TV show this week, one that dealt with Trump very heavily.

Agreed. This whole way of thinking seems like a remnant from an earlier era. It’s like, Cosmo in checkout lanes is your battle? Really? Do these people have any inkling what’s available on the Internet?

RE: that photo of the hat/sunglasses.

Well, if you really wanna know, no. I find what Roseanne did to her parents deeply fucked up. She ruined their lives to distract from a low-point in her career. I know she’s had challenges in her life, but still, that’s really messed up.

I still find it unbelievable that within the last 25 years I’ve actually come to find Tom Arnold a likable figure.

I might suggest that he book an window seat on an airliner - cheaper and safer - but I’m getting the vibe that logic isn’t really the point of this whole thing.

I like how the only member of the panel Frank Sinatra doesn’t personally threaten is the singer from 2 Live Crew, whom instead he gives a pep talk.

Out of the multitudes of people who marched yesterday (me and mine among them), there are naturally going to be varied opinions about how to curtail gun violence. Yet, I can say that from the speakers and the signs and whatnot, the overriding theme was simply acknowledging the tragedy of school shootings.

Perhaps the supporters of the water park will demand that the investigation be shut down due to the government’s obvious anti-decapitation bias.

Yeah, you can kind of see an “Atlas Shrugged” philosophy at work here, i.e., ‘See? When the government Takers aren’t telling the Makers what they can and can’t do, the Makers create things, marvels of innovation and scale!’

Damn. Torn between The Funniest Joke in the World, The Society for Putting Things on Top of Other Things, etc.
