His methods of deflection are what most of us learned to recognize around junior high.

I do remember when “Fortunate Son” was used just after 9-11 in some commercial (I’m thinking Ralph Lauren?) to signal jingoistic patriotism, e.g., a giant American flag swayed as “Ohh that red white and blue!”

Re: Mr. Show...

I recall how Berkeley Breathed was with George W. Bush... he’s gotta be losing his mind right now.

This totally brings to mind the 2009 kerfuffle about Sarah Palin’s memoir (ahem!) “Going Rogue” and “Going Rouge,” the collection of essays slamming Palin... the covers were even vaguely similar, which led to a lot of disappointed people that Christmas.

Me too. Last night of the tour yo!

Watching this recently I was struck by the prescience of the future world. People on public transportation reading things in their hands that are instantly updated with breaking news, advertising tailored to the individual based on past purchases, etc... and on a philosophical level it was one of the more relevant

It’s almost enough to make you wonder about her.

Doesn’t this guy now spend his time harassing people in college parking lots or something?

It was announced last month that In N Out is coming to my state... but I’d trade that for them re-opening the Griff’s they closed a couple years ago.

Good Christ!

The “genius” Tweets seem odd, as if someone else typed them (or helped him out?) As others have pointed out, why would you insert the verbal tic “like,” in something you’re typing? And the “at that!” doesn’t seem like him... not sure what to draw from that.

Your first paragraph totally encapsulates how I felt about Lost. I was very taken with the first two seasons, sat through season 3, and called it quits in the middle of season 4... and in reflecting, my reasoning is exactly that: for 1 and 2 I thought they were going somewhere, and that there were answers to all the

I’ll never get over the fact that those guys are called Stormtroopers.

Denver wilderness?

I’m always confused by the urge to ban Trump from Twitter. Even if that were to happen he would still be president and he would still be mentally unstable; you’d just be taking away the outlet by which he expresses his instability.

File under a broken clock is right twice a day, but from what I’ve heard many of Bannon’s revelations show what a person outside their bubble thinks of Donald Jr., Ivanka and Jared Kushner, i.e., that they’re quite stupid.

When you point out to someone that they’re being duped by fake news, a common reaction is the both-sides-do-it thing. I’ve had this happen in my personal life, and it’s aggravating, i.e., the person then makes some outlandish claim like “well I guess we all buy into what we want to believe, whether it’s true or not.”

Just to show what an irony-free time we now live in, this man Tweeted a picture of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson with the caption “The woman is a buffoon. Look at her,” pretty clearly referring to her hat.

I kind of picture it being yelled by Burgess Meredith circa Rocky, e.g. “MAKE NEWS YA’ BUM!”
