Watching the Baz Luhrmann Elvis movie unironically do the “singer gets the audience riled up” scene from Walk Hard kind of broke my brain.

Walk Hard is so good it basically killed musical biopics. I was stunned the Queen movie actually had the balls to do all the clichés post Walk Hard.

He’s not wrong. People are giving Jordan Peele credit for Candy Man too. People will give people they like credit for anything they’ve touched on a whim and people will give people they hate credit for anything they hate to protect the ones they like, too.

There was never anything legitimate about the this, the show cast a non white trans girl in a leading role, the show was produced by mostly non straight people, and the cast by and large are a group of up and coming non straight actors.

If you can make just one person laugh, that’s one more than Jimmy Fallon.

Abdul-Mateen is a great actor so I trust him to play a ‘thinks he’s great’ actor. The fact that it will piss off certain sects is just an added bonus.

It’s an impossible thing to prove either way, because any metric one might toss out:

Scary is incredibly subjective, but this game does the inexorable build of dread better than many I’ve played. There aren’t any true jump scares, but the weirdness and the methodical build work wonders.

Now they have to concern themselves with proving that they’re the creators at all.”

You are* an apologist. Flat out, 100%.

Absolutely true. But it can also mean “if not, I am going to find a reason to discuss this for half an hour so you miss your flight.”  They have leverage, which is why it is important to get this program abolished completely.
