King of the Hill characters aged at half speed. So by the end of the series I think everyone was about 5 years older

Hopefully next season opens with the chyron "20 years later…" and then they just show Tim Burton's Batman with commercial breaks

Nicolas Winding Refn. Boba Fett already doesn't talk much.

Between The Jinx and this whole Savile thing, "Incredibly Creepy looking weirdoes" have been set back decades.

'dying duck in the water' is that a saying? Is a duck dying in the water better or worse than on land or in the air? Did….did a hunter shoot the duck, and now the dog is gonna get it?

Think he was talking about the James Spader voice impersonator in the corner. Not James Spader himself.

"knock upon our chamber anon
We await thine presence,
Fain! kissing thee and thou and she
Three a company doth make"

The costuming in general is fine. The armor is just particularly goofy.

The costuming for armor is still bafflingly bad for a show on the history channel. There seems to be a decent amount of money put into it, so I don't know why they insist on dressing everybody in weird fantasy shit. Throw some chainmail on them dudes and call it a day; even some spray-painted sweaters would be better

He looks like Bobby Moynihan

I can see it, but only if you change the meaning of the words 'looks' 'exactly' and 'Daniel Radcliffe'

I watched this more or less randomly two nights ago because I was drunk. I'm still not sure if it actually holds up, but it's pretty charming.

Can't wait for 'Legend of the Guardians : The Owls of Ga'Hoole 2 : Too Owl Too Guardian'

International treasure

If anything he's overdressed for a bear

Started playing Valkyria Chronicles on Steam. The gameplay is pretty unique and the different gameplay systems fit together in a solid way that becomes immensely satisfying once you've figured it all out. It's a little too easy for my taste though.

You're right of course, I was kind of purposefully misusing it though.

And it had time for about 50 catchy songs.

I feel like at least part of the reason he expanded it to a trilogy is that he's probably employing about 40% of New Zealand at this point.

I guess that's a fair complaint, I've only read the first two books, and didn't particularly like Messiah. The original novel is still probably my favorite Sci Fi novel of all time though. I could never really bring myself to read later novels because they sounded so disappointing in comparison.
