The basic gist of a martini is adding gin and vermouth to ice and stirring the drink to allow the ice to chill the mixture, but then straining the drink before serving to keep the ice from diluting it.

Dent and Joker’s confrontation was to finally give Dent the spark to become full on vengeful maniac
Batman tackled Dent because he was about to kill Gordon’s kid
The wrong one died.
I once saw Joss Whedon eat a can of soup, not the soup, but just the can.
One of the reasons I really love John Mulaney’s “horse in a hospital” bits is that it’s one of the few takes I’ve seen that’s really captured both the absurdity, and our collective shrugging acceptance of said absurdity, of Trump’s presidency. I particularly like his response to Trump voters (“the people who opened…
Yup. Also applies to the word "libtard" - whenever it appears in any comment, I just skip the whole thing. It's kinda nice, in a way, that there are such easily identifiable markers that let me know Not To Bother.

Has anyone else developed a filter on their own brain that when they see the words “Because SJW” they filter out the rest of the comment and throw it all right into the mind trash.

Good god, you couldn’t have missed the point any more, could you?
Sure, those guys had plenty of flops, but what is the Rock’s Rocky? Or his Die Hard? I can’t think of a single Rock film that’s considered essential viewing today, let alone in 30 years.
I mean, leave the AV Club if you feel you must, but talking to family? Don’t get crazy now.
I loved It Follows, but it would have been 700% better if the monster did that.
You’re opinion isn’t unpopular - hating Radiohead is the “new cool.” But why bother reading an article about a band you hate and then leaving a comment spreading your negativity? I despise country music, so I just don’t ever read about or comment on it. Why do Radiohead haters so desperately need everyone to know they…
That’s not an unpopular opinion, that’s straight from the edgy iconoclast starter pack.
You forgot the part where because you don’t like it, no one really does, and they must just be pretending to like it to look cool.
I don’t like the thing, and therefore it is objectively a bad thing. I am actually unable to comprehend someone having different personal taste when it comes to the consumption of art and culture than I do, therefore their taste must be inherently bad, while mine is true and good.
Good to see a lot of the comments are, predictably, a lot of edgy takes on how overrated Radiohead is. Never change AV Club!
Calling someone a hipster for liking Radiohead is basically the equivalent of calling someone a hipster for liking the Beatles. Hipster used to have some sort of a meaning, now it’s just a term for people who care about stuff you don’t.
