No, I’m a pacifist. Cowards run. I’m not running. I’m standing up for what I believe in. You want to go to war and I can see that now.  War accomplishes nothing...

So, anyone whom you disagree with must be morally bankrupt, and lacking education?

Empathy is good.   We need more of that.

So the formula now appearently is:

1. Someone implements a policy change that is both unpopular & unfair
2. The public at large and media pundits everywhere complain about it.
Outrage ensues.
3. The person or persons who implemented the unpopular/unfair policy come to their senses and walk it back.

I like our systems ability to force compromise and keep the majority from wholeheartedly imposing its will on the minority. I like that our system has built in checks and balances to slow the process down. It’s designed that way for a reason. Because government that is able to accomplish things quickly and easily

Eh she’s young and thinks she is the shit right now. She can be excused for being a little cocky. With experience and time she could go from “being famous for being famous” to someone who really is a force to be reckoned with.  If she doesn’t get so cocky that she derails her chances  of being elected in the fall that

She thinks she has it in the bag. I would laugh my arse off if she lost to the republican challenger because of it.

I have no problem with her personally and I think she is the fresh face the democrats need right now, but she needs to actually win the general election to become the next congress person from her

Conservative or Liberal, I don’t care, you all sound the same to me, like angry fools who can’t figure out how to work shit out like adults and get along.

Also.. Sarcastro6, yes my grammar may not be perfectly representative of the king’s english, but that doesn’t make you any less of an obnoxious twit. Yes,

Dear Conservatives and Liberals:

Sometimes a what about ism is actually an apt and fair comparison. That you need to dismiss it as a “what about ism” tells me that you fear the point being made because you fear that the point being made speaks the truth and the truth is an enemy of the narrative you wish to cling to, so you dismiss it as a

Stepping outside our comfortable zone is the first step. If you have lived all your life in a large city or the suburbs around a large city, spend some time in small town america, preferable not just as some obnoxious tourist, but actually listening and getting to know people.

Same goes for small town america. If you

Anytime you use the word “every” or “all” or you imply “every” or “all” to describe a given grouping of people your statement about them is automatically invalidated, because all it takes to invalidate the assertion or imposition of “every” or “all” cops being bad is one single data point outlier where a cop is decent

So exercising your freedom of speech in a civil way that if you are effective at making a compelling argument that can change hearts and minds and rally people to support your cause is in your mind a waste of time because nobody is risking arrest or their life?

Do you really think so little of your fellow human beings

Are you always this kind and nice to people on internet forums? Yes it was a bit of a leading an inane question on the kinja poster’s part, but that doesn’t give you the right to behave  like an asshole.

Are you trying to say economic models are non binary and instead exist on a spectrum?   LOL

The same intelligence apparatus that the left shitted on during the last Bush administration. The same intelligence apparatus that the media and the left shitted on when Snowden leaked the details of NSA spying and data mining american citzens?

That intelligence apparatus? Hmm.. I guess they are only trustworthy when

Yes, nobody including the great Elon Musk is beyond objective criticism, and yes what he said to the rescuer was a horrible insult and proves his capacity for being an admiral commanding an entire fleet of douche canoes.

But point of order your claim that your colleague over at Splinter, Libby Watson’s tweet accusing

So we have two drunk, physically abusive, publicly disorderly, racist assholes, who got arrested (and hopefully prosecuted) for being two drunk physically abusive, disorderly, racist assholes.

Four things:

1. People can be drunk, physically abusive, publicly disorderly, racist assholes.
2. You can and will be arrested

Going after this judges record on the bench, that’s valid. Digging into the judges ties to the republican party, also valid. Reviewing this person’s judicial philosophy through the record of public statements and writings, also valid. You can cover the judges educational background, business dealings, where the judge
