The AV Clurb

I enjoyed the 2016 Ghostbusters. I enjoyed it more than Afterlife (which I thought was fine), and based off what I keep reading about it, I’ll enjoy it more than Ice Age or whatever it’s called. I’ll still see it eventually.

This is great, but it would have been hilarious if he went on a rant about how 9/11 was a hoax.
He doesn’t believe that, but I would have loved it.

I didn’t know about the shit that this guy did until a few weeks ago and yikes. Really creepy stuff. I’m surprised they put him in the Deadwood film. I’m of the mind that someone who gets minors to take nude picture with stuffed animals while wearing cowboy hats or dressed like a Native American should move out to the

Orange County is a gem! A GEM!

I’m pretty sure this site uses A.I. to write some of the articles, so this whole thing is pretty rich.

Tell me more about these, how did you pronounce it, ladders?

We’ll never know, Grandpa. It never aired!

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar being involved pretty much guarantees that this will be all sorts of bland.

Duffy probably is slightly cooler than Weinstein since he didn’t, you know, rape scores of women.

I mean, even Trank didn’t get a documentary about how he set his own career on fire. I have to give the award to Duffy on that one.

Saw it today and rather enjoyed it.

Pretty much sums up my opinion on the matter

Still can’t believe they never aired the heavily rumored Cheers D and D episode.

This is probably me ignoring your very last sentence, but when they make comments like this I’m glad they’re stuck on the sinking ship that is AV Club.

This is a great write up, but I have to disagree with you about the courtesan scene. He wasn’t trying to avoid making it seem like he thinks all Japanese women look alike, he was trying to hide his disappointment that it wasn’t (he is lead to believe) Mariko.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gosling did a cover of the theme that played over the end credits. Seems like a good easter egg place to put it.

I’m not sure any other film really captured the feel of a pure 80s fantasy romp like this one did. I’d like them to use as many practical effects as possible, but that’s probably not going to happen.

The original was in 1982, but the Slumber Party Massacre remake was awesome.

Fingers crossed for a remake of Ghost, with Melissa McCarthy and Pete Davidson!
