I recently started watching the UK show simply because I missed the American one, and it’s not nearly as good. 

How does a personal dispute result in 23 other people being shot? Like, at what point do people just stop and think, hey maybe we should take this somewhere else?

...Huh?

I just don’t get why anyone would break up with Jennifer Garner.

Hamm doesn’t seem to turn down roles. I’m not saying the roles he’s playing are beneath him, he just seems to be working all the time. 

I like his music, but his character in Dave is so goddamn insufferable that it’s hard to enjoy the show. I’m much more interested in Gata. 

That’s fair. It’s pretty much the same reason I’m giving up on The Boys. It’s becoming more gratuitous without adding substance.
I think a huge problem with both Invincible and The Boys is that they’re very tonally jarring. You’re allowed to make a show that’s both funny and disturbing, but not to those extremes. 

The way things are going, it’ll probably be cancelled before they finish the story anyway. I would just recommend reading the comic (if you haven’t already). The show is such a close adaptation in animation and style anyway that it’s basically the same thing.

At least they didn’t sink so low as to cast Larry Hemsworth, the worst Hemsworth!

In this one specifically, I think it’s the rotating angles during scenes that make it look like Flash animation. Unless it’s done well, it looks pretty cheap. 

There was a documentary about that a year or two ago starring Nick Cage!

I really enjoyed the first season. One of those shows that started as a guilty pleasure but actually became good. Kind of like Lucifer. 

I’ll give this show a break because the animation process is long and complicated, this this split season shit has GOT to end. It made sense back in the day, when shows had 22 episodes, and they would take a break over the holidays, but God. DAMN. Shows now have 8 to like, 12 episodes and they split that shit up with…
