I agree they not make very good technical decisions and I certainly hope they finally implement the unified account based system and cross-buy for VC and learn more from their competition instead of replying they won't do the same as the competition.

I just bought one last week and don't regret it at all :D

I think you have not read how the transfer program really works. You do not lose your already purchased Wii VC games, they will be still there, you just get a discount price at Wii U VC games if you already have them on your Wii. So, for NES its $1.00 and for SNES $1.50, but you get to keep them on both Wii and WiiU,

The program is for NES $1 and for SNES $1.50 USD. In my opinion, to pay for features like Miiverse compatibility, off-TV play, restore points and save file per user profile make the upgrade a lot more convenient that leaving my Wii VC copy in the dark ages.

With Aonuma you really have to read between lines and do not make any assumptions... he likes to tease a lot. He did not mentioned remove puzzles completely - "...and I kinda wanna change that, maybe turn it on its ear" - more likely, he wants it to make them more immersive than shooting eyes with arrows, flooding

I do agree. Nintendo pushed the 3DS more during 2013 and there are a surprising amount of new superb games available already for it. Their focus this year needs to be the WiiU, otherwise they will never recover and it will drag the 3DS to failure...

another Pushmo game on 3DS and many would could it rehash or over exploiting the 3DS install base. Put it on WiiU and complain about not being on 3DS...sighs

Who would be generic and boring? So far it seem as the more diverse and balanced Smash Bros.

The official service might go away tomorrow... but there is a homebrew project that will give some continuation to the service of some of the games:

I recall too that this has not be changed yet. Last January, it was a subject at the Nintendo's Corporate Management Policy Briefing. I just hope it becomes a reality this year. The fact that it is hardware based has prevented most of my friends to even get any Nintendo system and the ones that have, not even download

If you have already made the transfer of your data and games from your Wii to your WiiU, then you will see its price as $1.00 on the WiiU eShop.

I did find the length of the game fair enough, considering that if you played Pikmin 1 you only had 30 to gather the ship parts and scape from the hostile planet. While in Pikmin 2 you could take as long as you liked because of the caves prevented the in-game time to pass and they were though as hell. Since I finished

Hopefully by the end of June, that is if Satoru Iwata really wants to keep its CEO position and regain its 100% salary. Let's see what they present at the next Nintendo Direct...
