It's in my top 15 movies of all-time, but I DEFINITELY understand why it does not get more love. I don't dislike its perceived weaknesses, though, and the most powerful moments hit harder than almost anything that I have seen.

Yeah, and hundreds of thousands of Christians died to spread the civil idea that you're not obliged to sell your mouth and throat to rich people.

Really? I get thinking it's wrong, but it is definitely self-contained, which is why it's been both resistant and flexible for millennia.

It's SUPPOSED to be taught in ELCA, too, right before Kierkegaard teaches you what the "kind of, sort of" means.

I'm even Lutheran, so you'd think I'd say the opposite, but the idea of the Catholic church as anti-intellectual went out of date decades ago.

The Japanese one had it so the Church was the one overcoming the ignorance of the people who were spooked by their powers.

Well, I hate it, because religion is specifically and pointedly a "hero" in the actual video game series. It's 1 of the reasons it's 1 of my favorite series.

Aw, honestly, it is appreciated! Kind words make that march much easier, so thank you.

I can confirm. However, it's my 30th birthday today, and I can also confirm that it is way worse on a particular milestone day.

This is the only good political joke in this thread. Thank you!

I know! Most things got bumped, it seemed. It's eerie.

Despite Sean getting mad that not everything sounds like The Haxan Cloak, you should really listen to the Muramasa album. For some reason, he's released 8 songs of 14 before its release, but that gives me the confidence to say that it'll be the album of the year.

I don't, but tell me more!
