I don't know if he's joking, but he's commented multiple times (I heard on Greg Fitzsimmons' podcast) that he got a botched Prince Albert. Soooooo, close enough?
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I try to tell people about the 4 canon Fantasy Zone games all of the time, but people think of the shop system and the cute-'em-up, and that's it.
He is very well-loved in the United Kingdom, is interviewed constantly, and recently did an entire hospital wing wall. James Blake even used him for album artwork for his 2016 LP.
I'm just going to copy and paste this paragraph for future reference.
Sympathy! The world still loves Brazilians as people, never fear. I really hope that you all figure out the reforms needed to make the hype worth it again, even if the next couple of years are embarrassing.
It is Sonic The Hedgehog. There is no other answer.
FC and United are bad enough (it'd be like calling it "Zenit"), but Real truly is the worst name in all of a-tier league sports. I love Utah, but how did it end up with Jazz AND Real?
I'm stealing this.
London. Update those stereotypes!
It's both for different people. Of the tweets above, the 1st 3 are mockery. Chris Hardwick doing it is mockery.
This (and the other similar comments) is a true but irrelevant point. Like, look at Brazil. Covers of The Economist and every sports thing you can think of didn't fix their corruption and overall weakness as a nation. I hear you.
Yeah, I think the national media has portrayed it as, "Maybe this is the thing that turns Cleveland around!" Really, it's more of a Chilean soccer team situation, where the hard work has already built up success, and sports are the symbol of the end of the 1st step and hope for the 2nd.
The thing I like about The A.V. Club, even in articles about more obscure movies, in the music reviews, and in obituaries for people we should know but perhaps don't, is that we're a lot (writers and commenters) who aren't proud to not know.
Being a Christian and really into the concept of religion in general, I absolutely believe that culture is largely created by the stories that we tell each other. Communism was an economic calamity for many, sure, and even more lost their lives directly, but it was the erasure of a way of life that really decimated…
Whether it's the Cleveland Cavaliers or Leicester City or the Kansas City Royals or whoever, I thought hipsters were into music/television/movies/comics/video games for the stories, right? Ultimately, we're stepping outside of ourselves to experience a narrative that only extreme technical proficiency can bring.
Ohmygod, the foooooood. It's, like, we Americans don't get what good food really is.
And they're re-editing the ending now.
I've been swamped with life for the last 3 months, so I so behind on what's out, but how about Shura's '90s vibes? https://www.youtube.com/wat…
John Roberts' melodic percussion? https://soundcloud.com/1800…
It really is superb, although it could lean a little bit more into electronic and country genres, which can be a little opaque to outsiders.
