She brought the family aspect to it, though, which is better than a 22-year old's sadness that a college sweetheart didn't work out.

Yeah, you know my religious and political background, and I can tell you Le1f talking about leading men on who want to fuck him is not a popular choice among my friends for traveling. I say it's good fun.
Crash Of Rhinos was the band that converted me to that formula. Rest in peace! https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I think I read that on Resident Advisor.
Yeah, but now, because Disqus is butt, I and others have to click 10 times to get past this whole discussion when we want music recommendations from people. Pick the Box Office results, the Pop Culture Weekend, the Tolerability Index, where it's a predetermined free-for-all, not year-end lists.
Luckily, that is a unique situation. https://twitter.com/Genevie…
Disqus isn't display my list and others' comments because it's awful, but I am something of a fan.

That Public Service Broadcasting was a surprise because I hadn't heard of it (same for Los Hijos De La Montana), but you also don't strike me as as Holly Herndon fan. Nice pick! You might enjoy Glasser https://www.youtube.com/wat… That Aisha Devi I posted in my top 40 might appeal a ton, too.
Jaar's Nymphs series (he re-released I, too) really needed more attention among songs of the year. II is basically a perfect single.
Not that Disclosure and Lakker sound alike, but I thought the latter found a way to be really immediately appealing without whoring themselves out. There's a ton of backlash, but I don't buy it.
Regarding music section commenters: imagine if there was a gimmick account that posted in television reviews, "MORE LIKE UNBEARABLE KIMMY SHIT RIGHT," or, "I'm out of touch these days. Whatever happened to good shows like Cheers?", or every 3rd comment was "I love ___ so much, I want to take it behind a middle school,…

1. Were The Basics huge this year because of Gotye? I didn't notice particularly more coverage of them than usual.
2. Triple J: yea or nay?
And while I recognize some of the new names and old-timers, it's nice to know whom to especially pay attention to here (for me, J.J. Anselmi, David Anthony, John Everhart, Jason Heller, Corbin Reiff, Evan Rytlewski, Kevin Warwick).
Oscar Key Sung, Last Dinosaurs, Sarah Blasko, San Cisco, Devotional, Basenji, Kane Strange, Lawrence English, and Oh Wonder all had 2015 releases.
I was hoping you'd post! Your lists are typically worthwhile. That said, who in the heck are The Indelicates?
I like your style. Maybe try New Order's comeback album from this year if you have the chance.
Hear, hear! Except I wouldn't replay The Phantom Hourglass.
It is the biggest turn-off for me: moving to more pop-oriented structures while being less catchy in actuality than previous, "more complex" work.
Definitely check out Sacred Bones' catalog if you loved Blanck Mass. They get better and better to me.
Michael Kiwanuka got his lunch eaten by Leon Bridges, that's for sure.
