@Captain_Tripps: I would just like to say that as much as I loved the show, Buffy the character was kind of an idiot up till the end of season seven when everyone told her just precisely how stupid she'd been, and that she was going to need to shape up or they were all going to be dead, then she became emotionally

@seriousfic: This disturbs me. What about the art creates this feeling?

@phoghat: Obligatory Green Day comment.

@Althestane: You know, it never occurred to me that the video footage might be the reason it gets used so much. We had a presentation on structural failures that alternated between clips of the bridge and blurbs about other structural failures, like the jumping people. I'm just tired of that video.

@Althestane: I remember that one. That was really terrible. it kind of loses a bit of it's impact when the next slide is Tacoma again, though. I really wish that bridge wasn't the go to example of engineering failure.

@Rossum: Yea, and it's a terrifying thought, I'm just tired of seeing Galloping Gertie every other sentence

Speaking as an engineering student, if I never see this bridge again it'll be too soon. This is the horror story every engineering professor pulls up as the consequences getting your math wrong, Heck, even one movie we had to watch cut back to this bridge after every example of an engineering failure. I'm not sure

@Vecha: was that any good? I just assumed it wasn't.

@Silentkiller2774: Speaking as a DM, I've found that 4th's two biggest problems are a lack of nondamaging abilities and everything has too much health. I usually take a bit off the health of the more basic grunts, or stick to using primarily Brutes, simply because the more tank-like ones can take all day to kill.

@Howard Blair: I think the Underdark is maybe a plane of its own now, or part of a darkish plane? I'm pretty sure it got moved wholly into the 'generic' implied setting with fourth, but I never cared about Drow enough to keep track, they just aren't my cup of tea.

I just watched the Sting version of this on Sunday, and I would like to stat that Sir Patrick Stewart is a god.

@Belabras: Me too. Obviously we need more racist charicatures.

@SoupNBread: Yea, I've seen those, they're great. still bugs me that the starter decks aren't decks.

@All_hail_cale: I want to know why they didn't give people whole decks if they wanted them to play.

You know, you used to be able to buy a starter deck and play, then they replaced them with the unholy INTRO PACK. They contain a 40 card 'deck' and a booster pack. THERE'S NOT ENOUGH STUFF HERE TO BUILD A DECK you're 5 cards short of being legal, and most of the last fifteen is going to be off color and unplayable,

@Shinta: ;saerlyhmb,v That thing was scary, and boring, but mostly scary.

@MyPonyRocks: I thought it was just an awesome TV that did polarized light. This is getting crazy.
