forgive me, i have not been around to barf in a while so i bring a bit of Kaopectate to settle the stomach. good news everyone!

lets not forget the flags that they were, unfortunately, not able to protect.

What infuriates me is that what she learned from all of this is that she thinks she shouldn’t have voted at all. Really? With hindsight, you don’t wish you had exercised your right to vote for someone whose administration probably wouldn’t have ended up encouraging the type of ICE deportations that resulted in tearing

Hamilton,

The horror had faded. I’d forgotten just how hideous his pep rallies were. Ugh.

And those jobs only pay that much because, in the case of coal miners, labor organizers died for a fair wage. And safety protections. If it was up to coal companies the miners would make minimum wage just like the retail cashiers.

Oh, I know you’re not kidding. The problem is that Democrats have been going along with it, perhaps out of fear of offending the multimillionaires and billionaires in their donor base. They have not been taking this issue as seriously as a lot of their base would like them to.

Because the conservatives want a permanent uneducated work force fighting for subsistence wages not an expanding middle class demanding benefits and conservation of precious resources.

it’s strange that coal country wants those jobs back. it’s all done through mountain top removal, huge trucks, and colossal machinery that requires very few people to operate. that’s the reality. the methods have changed. they don’t bore into mountains any more. they just move the mountain.

I think the focus on manufacturing is in part a way of distracting people from the need for higher wages in the service industry. A demand for wage increases is something that has gotten momentum but seems a bit stalled because of all the focus in manufacturing

Coal miners earn an average salary of $55,000/year in W Virginia. If you watched the Bernie Sanders townhall, that’s the reason the gentleman cited for going into a profession that’s literally killing him.

Over 250 people have been exonerated from death row. 250 innocent people who could have been murdered by our govt if it hadn’t been found out in time they were innocent. Many of those were race related as well. The death penalty is not an action we can take back if we’re wrong.

Well then you do know where you stand on the death penalty.

Damn Sheryl it’s almost like capitalism is fundamentally incompatible with the equal liberation of all people!

Yeah but coal mining is pretty sweet if you own a coal mining company.

These men, these trash piece of shit men like O’Reilly and Trump, love to insult women’s looks. They think it’s like a shot to the core or something. That something so trite is cutting or even witty.

Words are insufficient to describe my seething hatred of Bill O’Reilly. Fuck this guy and his smug, irritating, racist, sexist bullshit.

It’s not Donald Trump as President that scares me. It’s that getting rid of him probably won’t change anything but how effective the new President will be by comparison.

Jeff Sessions said “sanctuary cities put our law enforcement in danger.”

Right, but the NRA doesn’t mean that everyone should have the right to defend themselves with guns - just white people. DUH!
