I have been through it so you are wrong. End of story. I did not make light of this at all. In fact, I think TV makes light of it by using it as a plot point, to the agony of people who have actually been abused by someone with power over them. The media uses it for a shock, for entertainment, with the idea that

Freezing where I could get a glimpse of Simone’s big board:

I still suspect she was right and is in coma. That would be a very Bad Place way to screw with the experiment.

Those last 6 months really went quickly. And of course it all blows up 5 hours before deadline. Everything is falling apart and then we once again see the core qualities that make them all work. Michael’s love of human stuff. Jason’s incredible insight - twice (no wonder Tahani thought he was replaced by a demon).

That brief moment of doubt before she flashed the smile is what sold it.  Little blink, little headshake...

That was her “magician’s assistant” attire for Michael’s “Magnificent Doctor Presto” performance.

I didn’t really laugh a lot at this one... but damn I was on the edge of my seat. This season The Good Place is, at times, less funny to me (it can still be downright hilarious, don’t get me wrong) but a lot more emotionally and thematically intense.

Michael: Can you make them clap harder?

This is s very fair critique of the recap. I love Laurie, and I wanted to explore what bring her back at this juncture meant for her character and for the show. Next week I’ll focus more on what’s on the screen. Thanks for taking the time to read it.

This made me think of the classic Irish joke.

Longtime girlfriend Holly Rice, you say?

Jesse apparently settled in my town so I’ll keep my eyes out for him. He’s probably picking up some carpentry work for the winter, found himself a dry cabin to rent for just a little too much, and looking around to deckhand in the summer. He’s going to fit in pretty well, actually.

Skinny redeems himself from his first episode, where he let poor Jesse get the crap beat out of him by Tuco (and then claimed to Walter that he would have done more, but he’s on probation, yo!). I think, somewhere in that mind of his, he remembers that day with shame.

Badger and Skinny Pete are amazing friends.

This reminds me of my favorite story from college.

Couldn't agree more! The Return is one of the best seasons of TV I've ever seen, and Fire Walk With Me is severely underrated in the main.

Do I wait 15 minutes for my Damn Fine Coffee energy to recharge or pay $2.99 to get 15000 Log Bucks to convert to Cherry Pie boost mode?

Thanks for allowing me this platform to once again say:

I’m so torn on the idea of more Twin Peaks. I just don’t know how you top, or even really continue on from, The Return. That being said, if Lynch thinks there’s more story to tell then there’s more story to tell. I agree that another feature might be the best case scenario.
