Before the next time you feel like harping on “uneducated, poor English,” would you like some grammar pointers? Literally every sentence you wrote has a red flag.
Well, people modify their $50,000 diesel truck to burn more $5/gal diesel fuel to belch smoke to strike a blow for the little guy against the small-car driving, bicycling and pedestrian elites. Or something like that.
What is the point of rolling coal? Is it just redneck douche bravado? Do they think it impresses anyone? I don’t get it.
Sadly, he’s more likely to be nestled even further into the bosom of apoplectic MRAs and red pillers. He’s going to be their champion martyr and figurehead now that he’s been so badly mistreated by his feminazi corrupted wife.
If the world was fair, he would be followed for the rest of his days by people saying his kids weren’t real and were false flags.
This is the part I don’t get either. On the one hand he shares his tech which would make it seem like he doesn’t mind competition. On the other, he cuts off his competitors from having access to an expert in the field after acquiring a supplier.
I work for a fastener manufacture. We manufacture our own parts and have our heat treater within our corporate umbrella. We heat treat not only our fasteners but parts from all our competitors.
We may not win the part itself but we still often get paid to process it for the competition.
Musk is myopic in his goals.…
Musk continues to live up to my expectations of his engineering and manufacturing experience including a crony capitalist mindset.
If you purchase a supplier to your own company and your competitors you do not cut off your competitors. You continue to get a piece of what they make.. They pay full cost plus margin you…
I have said this before and it never stops being true: Donnie sounds like someone trying to have a serious conversation on a ball of cocaine. I really can’t listen to him talk, and when I read the shit he said, he sounds like a puppy that has too many shiny objects and noise makers around it.
Really it’s shallow people who deserve each other. Men who only care about a trophy wife and women who only care about money.
Oh to see that pre-nup.
But this is very different from the “mail order bride” narrative, because there we are talking about someone from a destitute town where there is a mafia-fun pipeline hooking up women to skeezy Americans and Western Europeans. This is more like someone who went to make it in the big city and married a rich doofus.
But Slovenia is very prosperous compared to the former USSR countries. The GDP and standard of living is far above any of the other Balkan countries, let alone places like Ukraine or Russia.
Oh, I know these stories quite well. My wife grew up in the USSR but took a very different road to emigrate here.
These guys who seek “mail order brides” do so for a reason and it has nothing to do with love or altruism. There’s no shortage of women in their countries who are their equals in age, beauty, intelligence. They want someone out of their league who they can control. So let’s not pretend these femme fatales are taking…
Man, I bet your firm had to talk clients out of some seriously tacky shit. Green marble countertops!
Had a client years ago who was independently wealthy (I worked at an Architecture firm specializing in large estate homes), and he described in great length how he managed to ‘meet’ his Russian bride. Apparently he had to go 3 times before he found ‘the right one’, at the cost of about $20k after all was said and…
Eastern European mail-order brides—and let’s not kid ourselves, that’s what Melania is for all intents and purposes—generally are very good at keeping up appearances and staying in loveless marriages to get what they want. I had a boss who got one and genuinely thought she loved him...until he discovered, after she’d…
