Can someone explain to me how Mike Pereira was in New York and Los Angeles at the same time? That is what is confusing me.

Again I have to ask, does Deadspin want to riddicule the NFL for how careless it is regarding player safety (especially concussions) or do they want to point out how cool it is for one player to literally kick another in the head?
His T-Shirt appears to say "Expand."
It still matters if the car owner cares about proper statistics. These data don't tell you if your car is more likely to be stolen.
I feel like this would be a lot more meaningful if it were relative to the number of that model estimated to be on the road. At the very least it would be an interesting addition.
Aye, what I read is not "I'm sorry I was speeding" but "I'm sorry I got caught speeding". Reinforced by the "Don't Speed In Virginia" title instead of just simply "Don't freakin speed, you morons. We can be gearheads and still be safe"
Rural roads may not have other drivers, but they have kids, wildlife (seen what a…
You expressed contrition in the article but also spent half of it talking about how totally unfair it all was. Really you came across as regretting that there were "real" consequences to you being caught, not believing that the law you broke was actually just. If you hadn't gone to jail would you be so careful about…
Maybe people take issue with your repeated insistence that you learned not to speed in Virginia as opposed to simply learning not to speed at all and your tongue-in-cheek implication that HURR DURRR IT WAS A REALLY STRONG POWERFUL SUPER COOL CAR AND THAT'S WHY I GOT THE NEED FOR SPEED HURRRRRRR DURRRRRRRRRR, which…
Do you really believe that the state makes money off of this? I know that this is a fairly common belief, but when one considers the costs associated with this, the facts suggest otherwise. Consider for a moment how much it costs to keep officers on the highway (and pay their benefits, pensions, etc). Also consider…
What a stupid article. You talk about not flagrantly breaking as opposed to what, sheepishly breaking the law? You qualify your behavior by explaining that you were traveling almost 40 miles over the speed limit on a country road as if this makes it a reasonable thing to do. You talk incredulously about being sent…
It has nothing to do with revenue. It costs WAY more to prosecute and jail speeders than it does to levy fines or just let them walk. It sounds like it's about saving lives and it sounds like its working if people know not to speed in Virginia.
Sheesh, it WAS a Camaro. Speeding in school zones in a Camaro is as natural as wearing a tank top and carrying a butterfly knife in your sock.
Or you know, don't speed. I promise wherever you have to go is probably not worth increasing the chance of your or another's death significantly. The greatest driver in the world can't do much if a tire blows or a deer jumps out of the woods, but it's a lot easier to stop from 60 than it is 90.
People die from cars - a lot. Speeders should go to jail well before we send weed users/dealers. Of course, our legal system isn't based on science or even logic.
clickbait headline smh
Heard from my boss, who heard from an up and coming golfer who heard from his coach that Johnson's year off previously was due to crack addiction and I assume this is for the same reason.
Tactics only take you so far; It's up to the players to do the rest. If you think our squad is strong enough to get past the round of 16, then you're drunk.
It's a bit ridiculous that he got arrested for speeding but the NFL slant is completely ridiculous. The cop makes clear the whole time that he's just the asshole arresting people for speeding because the law says he can (That's a whole 'nother story; the law's probably in place for drivers who appear to be…
