Kelly Olynyk is a goofy looking motherfucker. But he’s actually a really good athlete. Like, fast and bouncy and he’s somehow always able to keep his balance even though he always looks like he’s about to fall over. It’s one of the most confusing things ever.

Isn’t it possible that Papi meant that he, the most famous/popular player on the team, would have stepped up to him, but that Aviles didn’t have that luxury since he was still trying to make the team and his contract was for 220k for the season?

I think he’s not that good, and his mediocre shooting sticks out like a sore thumb when he’s playing next to Russ. The Thunder’s spacing is just awful for a slashing guard.

They’re awesome and they all have aesthetically pleasing games but it’s kind of no fun. I really don’t see how they don’t win it all the next 3 years barring injury.

Take that for data

Yeah, I’m with the people on twitter who think Donovan said, “Can’t blame Kanter,” with respect to that particular play.

Kirk Hinrich?

Fuck. The very fun NBA playoffs don’t seem so fun anymore.

The Nets with Jeremy Lin and Brook Lopez on the floor are actually not that bad. Hollis-Jefferson as a small ball 4 is pretty fun too. He can’t shoot, but he’s very quick and strong. This new starting lineup has a slightly positive net rating.

That’s what I thought last year. I thought LeBron had slipped and then he turned it on and was as good as he’s ever been in the finals. And considering how good he’s been on offense this year I think he probably still has that extra gear. I think it will be enough to get out of the East.

Nice bread knives (or rather serrated or scalloped knives) can do more than cut bread though. I know some people in professional kitchens will use cheapish Victorinox bread instead of chef knives for basically everything, and replace them every couple of months as they wear out.

The article requires a subscription, so I haven’t actually read it, but is the author arguing that the foul was genius, or just that it wasn’t quite as stupid as it looked?

Sadly, I think the Wizards and Raptors with a healthy Lowry are both better than the Celtics. The Cavs are in a whole other tier.

“So either she believed they were good moves, or she didn’t exercise her strength to stop those moves if she believed they were bad.”

Tweet of the week, wow, twitta.

Kings fans should not be happy.

The Pelicans also get Omri Casspi, arguably the second best player in the deal. I hope they win the draft lottery and keep their pick, just for maximum comedy.

I’m actually impressed that the Magic were able to swallow their pride and do their best to unfuck themselves after a bad trade. It looks bad, but it’s better than losing Ibaka for nothing or locking him into a 5 year contract with a $20 million+ average salary. And I don’t think Ross is that much (if at all) worse

Man, right as Middleton comes back too. Healthy Bucks would definitely be the most intriguing playoff bubble team in the east. This is no fun.

There’s no way to prove how Sanders would have done in the general. I dislike the bickering between people who say he was doomed because socialist and those who say he would have won handily because of a handful of polls. But personally, I do think Sanders would have done better than Clinton in the general
