I like mine a tad subtle, with a splash of blue and carbon fiber here and there

I think it’s called a “design study” because it’s supposed to be a preview for a facelifted Trailblazer, since the current model on sale still looks like this
The Verossa was offered as the RWD sporty counterpart to the FWD, cushy Camry IIRC. It replaced the Chaser and Cresta (basically a ‘hardtop’ frameless door windowed version of the Cressida) in 2001.
For all I know, it could serve as a pretty good basis for the next 4Runner, probably; the same way the current Tacoma is sorta similar to the Hilux (all I have to support my theory is that they have similar dashboards). I mean, I wish it would, since they’re both similarly sized & priced body on frame SUVs, how hard…
Yes, but do you want America to see you in the seat of a LeBaron?
I love that the Logo’s rear somehow looks like a tiny first-gen Odyssey if you squint really hard.
Honest to God this is what I thought was the title.
Nope, that’s actually standard for the Maybach S-Class haha
at some point in the world of auto design, we all just seemed to agree that the B-pillar was a shameful, dirty thing, and for modesty’s sake, we’d better paint them black and hope nobody sees them.
For some reason I’ve always been attracted to the Discus wheels ever since they debuted on the new Beetle.
It’s becoming a trend in VAG vehicles and Mercedes nowadays, what’s up with speedometers that doesn’t have the same increments all the way? Is there any actual advantage to normal speedometers? I don’t know why but the jump from increments of 10 to 20 just upsets me a little.
What bothers me the most is that the SLC43 is barely an AMG, without a bespoke engine (similar to the -450 AMG Sport cars) or transmission (9G-TRONIC instead of the Speedshift something). Are they that obsessed with efficiency they’re willing to water down what was the last naturally aspirated AMG to what is now…
I thought you said the car doesn’t have paddle shifters? Or was this a preproduction unit and they don’t do anything?
Either I’m just totally lost due to the monstrosity that is Toyota design or I can’t seem to find the goggles you mentioned.
If you’re interested in ugly Toyotas, look no further than their Southeast Asian offerings.
Starring this because “U”GLE
And they actually light up!!!
Funny thing is, Toyota could’ve made the second gen xB great if they decided to import the JDM bB instead of Americanizing the thing.
Even Volkswagen has EcoBoost, or so they say. For all we know, their cars may actually be carbureted.
With a 220 km/h (~140 mph) gauge cluster, I’m fairly confident this won’t replace the Z as opposed to be a spinoff of it (think Range Rover and RR Sport)
