Hand of Fate was also a kickstarter game and did well enough to also make its way to at least the xbox (I’d assume also the ps4) and be a games with gold game.

I can’t imagine trying to start playing this game now. Servers are so built up now that new players have limited build space (and spots in general). That plus there are spots where some tribes have monopolized popular spots like the volcano or herbivore island (easiest spots to find metal) so getting to the best stuff…

On xbox you get to play the game for a while without having to pay for it, being an early access game. So if you bought it on there then it’s your own fault for paying before playing.

I didn’t worry about it because I assumed they’d sell it until demand dropped off. They didn’t wait that long. It’s still in relatively high demand. I’m in a group on facebook for my local area that’s gaming-centric and people are constantly posting when they see one in the wild... it’s rare.
