This just turns the knife. I’m currently unable to play Rocket League because of an issue with the current build of the Xbox Dashboard (I’m a preview member) so whenever I try to play Rocket League online I am told “E67, can’t join game” which is a connection error.

I play on Xbox which allows me to game share with my brother so every digital game we get is 2 for 1.

Now playing

At the Drive In (and the Mars Volta) fucking rule.

Is there going to be some sort of fast travel ability? Seems big enough to need one. I guess the flute would cover it, although it’d be nice to have a more reliable option.

It won’t make used games worth more, though. I remember when I used to go in and trade a few games and get plenty of money to buy new games. Then it was a lot of games to get one game. Now it’s many games to get some of the money to buy one game.

He only got those kills because they didn’t anticipate a throw and were probably going for a throw of their own. He’ll win that almost every time because that’s what he’s made for. If any of those guys were just swinging away at him he wouldn’t have had such an easy time.

Even in cases where you do hit someone you’ll take fall damage. The clip of the long fall shows the guy takes 2 bars of damage and only doesn’t die because he got a kill in the fall. One hit after that and he’d be dead.

Grab/throw is countered with either a weak or heavy attack, unless the grab is unbloackable... in which case it can be easily dodged. People that get grabbed aren’t paying attention or they didn’t learn how to play the game.

The other one wasn’t super impressive either, but that’s because shield dude has an incredible ability to push others around at will. He’s extremely dangerous when there’s a death fall nearby.

I would take that action in person, lol.

Back in the day, when we had troops in Afghanistan, I would work 2nd shift and then drive to my brother’s house to help him take care of his kids (his wife was over there) all weekend. I’d get there and sleep, then wake up and get the kids situated before starting on some Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

Play it like you’re being obvious while actually lying. It’ll make playing it cool in later rounds/games easier.

We discussed having costumes and I don’t think I would want to do one unless it was something that was really nice and covered most of my body, like the no face cosplay that Adam Savage did. Plus we’d have to safely get a costume from Wisconsin to DC by air and that wouldn’t be easy or fun.

I thought it was myspace?

I’m trying to focus on meeting Stan Lee, who will be there. Also Phil LaMarr.

That’s great to hear. My wife has known the guy running it for longer than I’ve known her. He bought us lunch when we were on our honeymoon. Nice guy.

PLEASE do an article on best and largest cards available for the Switch. People will appreciate that.

My wife’s friend does a con in DC and has been wanting to go for years so... this June we’re going to AwesomeCon. She’s excited. I’m anxious but that’s an anxiety disorder for you.

The look and feel of the game are almost as good as the combat system, which is also top-notch.

In Fond du Lac, where I live (about an hour’s drive north of Milwaukee) there is a large park that has a ton of pokestops and many gyms. Obviously the bigger city is going to get more foot traffic but the real difference is that instead of just whining about people using the parks (dear god, no!) our city stepped up
