And all those prosthetics make it even worse — on the other side, thankfully, we have Beanie Feldstein (who really only resembles Lewinsky if you squint) with blissfully no prosthetics and selling it with an empathetic and believable performance. Meanwhile Clinton is in a Commedia mask saying nothing but bland or

Yes.

At the Body Shop, no less!

I agree with so much of this — it’s like they had the bones but forgot they had to give us the connecting tissue. (I did poorly in biology, so forgive me if that analogy fell flat!)

Yeah, I fill like the reckoning was kind of half-ass and never really happened. “Passive” is definitely the word.

Tell Me Your Secrets on Prime is god-awful, but he’s very good in it. Also the third season of Fargo. (He used to be in a regular in some very middling sitcoms, not really where to find his best work -- which at that time was on stage.)

I always get so confused about trademark use on TV. Half the time they can’t use an actual brand name for a very flattering use, but somehow they got to use Best Buy in this (which wasn’t all bad, but partly?)

And quite irritatingly, Spectrum is being weird about FX on my DVR now, cutting their shows off at exactly 0:29 or 0:59 even if the actual episode runs over. So I missed the last 4 minutes or so and had to wait till halfway through the next day to watch on Hulu.

The show doesn’t suggest that at all, you’ll be happy to hear! (If you haven’t already found out.)

Oh for sure, but I meant more like she was running to the back room to pound beer if something upsetting happened with Sophie during her shift. Then there was the night she was drinking at work and picked someone up and left her shift to go have sex, etc.

Yep. He’s literally famous for being charming to everyone, even his most extreme political adversaries. Nothing appealing about this version.

I think Finley’s drinking problem has been pretty well outlined over both seasons (earlier this season she was drinking in the mornings, hiding bottles, drinking during work, and continuing to drink after puking — and even said she’d quit while she was away), it’s just that everyone else’s relationship to/awareness of

I really, really continue to be unable to make the leap with Clive Owen. (I wonder if Bill is watching this series. He has to be, right?)

Yeah, “I wore a dress that said Tax the Rich and then I hung out with rich people!” is not exactly a hilarious commentary. Yes, she hung out with people she thinks should pay more taxes, that’s not exactly the height of hypocrisy. The dress itself is another story.

I get the notifications but they don’t take me to the comment, but it’s been like that for months.

I didn’t really “get” the new Biden impression, but he’s a tough one. The only one I really loved was Sudeikis’s (if I’m recalling correctly), but that version of Biden doesn’t really exist anymore.

I don’t understand her AOC impression. It’s just her speaking loudly, right? There’s no actual “take” on AOC?

And look, the Baron, Sire, and hellpup could do worse than good old Nutley, NJ!

I’ve yet to figure out how to watch credits on Hulu on its Roku platform. I can do it if I’m just on their website on my computer, but on Roku I’ve tried and tried and nothing works.

Oh my, that block quote was very dramatic and I didn’t mean it to be! I have no idea how this system works, other than the failure of effective notifications.
