Yes. That Martha begged June not to involve her. She was terrified, but June wouldn’t stop so she relented. The fact that the system sucks doesn’t absolve June from that.

Yes, I much preferred it to Cabin in the Woods, which was cute but... not as clever as I’d hoped.
I adored Behind the Mask -- but I do think it might not count here because it’s an actual mockumentary and not really found footage?
I still don’t understand how people believed it. Because how and why would that be okay/logical?
I left the theater wondering what the Big Scary Moment was, because... I didn’t see one. I was just bored, and I really wanted to be scared.
She basically runs the damn place now.
The first half is laughable-bad, the second half is just bad.
They end every episode with a dramatic close-up of her face underscored by ironic music. It’s freakin’ hilarious.
Aww, it was such a terrific moment! (I do think they could’ve dropped a verse, though.)
Isn’t Pose always an overlong episode? It’s a great show, but doesn’t need to be extended every week. FX needs to cut the crap with that (and I mean broadly -- they do it for half their shows).
We’re past the novel but I believe Atwood is still a consultant on the series
I hope to hell it never comes to the States. I’m sick of Mamet getting an automatic Broadway slot when his plays have been garbage for years.
I know! I thought we might at least get finale coverage as a result, but nope.
Oh I know. But they do still cover things. Just not most of what their own critics think is the cream of the crop.
Agreed, and I might add.... why is that show and most of the shows on this list not covered on this here website??
I agree about her kids, though I still think it was great television. Not sure why this review says Adlon decided to make Sam the central character for the third season, though. What the heck was happening during the first two seasons that I missed?
I thought the first episode was supremely unfunny and keep hoping someone will tell me it gets immediately better. Otherwise, not worth it to continue.
I loved it, and am certain I watched all of the second season, but the only priest I saw wasn’t hot. So I kept waiting for him to show up since everyone was going on and on about the Hot Priest.
Yep, I saw the free trial of Vida — first two episodes — and loved it. Would love to continue watching it but hell if I’m paying for yet another TV-delivering service on top of the 45 I’m already paying for one show. (Same feelings about The Good Fight.) (Seriously, at first this whole streaming revolution sounded…
Yes. He knew the phone call was being observed and she sounded terrified. Of course he said yes.
