And it had to be an indoor sport, so basketball is really the only one that makes sense. Wrestling is the only other one in most schools, but that’s so one-on-one that it wouldn’t make sense in the larger arc of the story.

“Nothing about her early interactions with Lawrence seems to indicate that she can count on him being an ally.”

Oh god, if I never saw the Waterfords again it’d be too soon. So glad we’ll at least get a new set.

Bingo. She just didn’t look like who they wanted to see finally beat him. (And hey, since the internet is gross, plenty of people have said that quite explicitly!)

It’s pretty nuts, right? Emma was damn good. Her life practically revolves around this show (and trivia in general) — her MLIS thesis was about Jeopardy. Reading any of this morning’s profiles on her makes it utterly unsurprising that she won, and ridiculous to assume James threw it (especially since his Final

Damn. I got excited for a minute there.

I’d say she saved his life countless times more often than she risked it.

Why do TV shows always do those weird wig disguises? It’s basically exactly her hair except a shade pinker and two inches longer. Unrecognizable!

I get that. But it backfired for me this time.

Yep. It’s too cringe-inducing to watch. Being a loving mother doesn’t always equal being an effective mother. She’s raising her kids to be horrid.
