I thought Toni referred to herself as bisexual more than once? Or did she just say she “plays for both teams” or some other phrase for it?

But she did -- she said he’d had a crush on her for a long time

Also isn’t that the most typical name for a girl who goes by Toni??

Babe. Persona. 25th Hour.

And he sat politely through it, and later released a (pretend) diplomatic statement about it. It was his boss and a bunch of other folks who went ballistic about how horrible it was that the cast said anything at all.

Can’t stand Pence but he actually stayed.

That’s pretty harsh if they forced her out because having taken maternity leave proved they could function without her. (It did prove that, but it ain’t a good look.)

I highly doubt it. Wouldn’t make much sense for her to randomly move to L.A. just as Joe does

I was just glad she lived. She really was the only good person.

She does write a short story while locked in the book vault.

I was really impressed by Badgley. I actually DID watch Gossip Girl and thought he was pretty generic and bland (even though his character was also a creepy stalker who always thought he knew what was best for various women). I didn’t expect this performance from him, and his work in it was the main thing that kept me

So with the original 4 we had two people thinking that, yes, they were meant to be in the Good Place and then two others knowing they weren’t and trying to pretend that they were. Will they do that again? Obviously John is a prick but thinks he did some service to the world, and is already being horrible. But I hope

Sure, but even to her they don’t have infinity years of history together, just a few weeks

But it is. I thought that was implied?

That makes sense, particularly because it can’t be anybody who knows her since she’s supposed to be the architect, not just another dead human.

Agreed. The accents WERE bad, and that was frustrating, but the silly location-related stuff was intentional and across the board regardless of location.

Yeah, next week(?) when it’s B99 and then... Will and Grace. Not really going to cut it.

I feel like it would’ve packed a little more punch if they’d given us all 4 new people instead of really making the whole episode some sort of romantic tragedy about Chidi and Eleanor. But I guess they have to save something as a cliffhanger (even though they didn’t present it that way).

Truthfully I’ve always seen her more as a party girl who’s down to get with hot women if she’s drunk enough. Not really more than that.

Literally thought of that last night, and then immediately thought you’d be saying something about it here! Well done!
